Tim Krul = Time Rolling Up??
-
Bull-fucking-shit. I don't want to overreact yet, but I want to hear an explanation or a denial.
-
If he is on the bench, they're more likely to bring on Berbatov, Nani, Scholes, Anderson or Carrick/Park (whichever doesn't play). In no circumstance is he getting game time.
-
Unless it specifically names Newcastle, Tottenham and Everton, I don't take rumours seriously. Although that one does mention a €5m release fee.

ZonalMarking have an article on the myth of Bolton's attractive football. Now, if you consider keeping possession and playing short passes to be attractive, its interesting to see how 'long ball hoofers' Newcastle compare to 'Brazil 1970' Sunderland. http://www.zonalmarking.net/2011/05/24/bolton-owen-coyle-style-of-football/

If anyone bumps into him in Aspers, ask if he's met teeth girl.
-
Are Real putting a buy-back in that?
-
We don't really need him, but do a Guardado-Xisco swap, as suggested on the last page.
-
Release: Kuqi, Campbell Loan: Ranger, Lua Lua, Krul Sell: Xisco, Routledge, Smith (if we can) The like of Guthrie, Raylor, Lovenkrands and Perch are rubbish, but they're harmless so we may as well keep them.
-
Outside of the top 6, we were on telly the most. Nice.
-
Freebie: no harm done. Pardew has made it clear that we're after 2 strikers, so its not like he'll be a marquee signing. Will be better than Kuqi, Ranger and Xisco.
-
Yeh he's the big cheese for Spanish stuff. No mention of Man City though. In other news, it seems like Brad Friedel is going to Liverpool. EDIT: Yes there is. sidlowe Sid Lowe City: not sure, I'm trying to work that one out. I would say unlikely but that's an educated guess. My money's on Real Madrid. Lots of you saying "but what about the rivalry?" Sadly, the answer is obvious: what about it?
-
sidlowe Sid Lowe Aguero: preferred destination RMadrid. Chelsea: possible. Don't think Utd interested. Spurs, Liverpool, Arsenal: no chance.
-
We've timed this perfectly. Although they want a bidding war, with one year left on his contract our bid is the absolute maximum they should be getting. Plus, it's all paid up front. We want an early signing, they've got a brilliant offer with plenty of time to replace. And comparisons with Owen aren't right. We were clearly a big step down from Real Madrid, so he wasn't interested. But Gameiro is largely unknown playing for a nothing club - we may not be Spanish, but we're definitely a step up for him.
-
How can he 80% turn them down? As far as I'm concerned, Liverpool can buy as many expensive strikers/midfielders as they want, as long as it keeps them away from Enrique.
-
That won't work out well.
-
Honestly, I love this place sometimes :mackems:

I've posted him a lovely comment in French. Hope he appreciates it. "Bienvenue à Newcastle! Vous allez adorer la vie ici" It isn't a video of a goat, and it isn't crazy stalker-ish, but I'm content with that dammit!
-
Defoe: He's alright, he's better than what we have but I know we can (and will) do better. It would break every rule of the regime's transfer laws, so we definitely won't be after him. Rondon, on the other hand.....
-
Even if it was £10m, thats an 8 figure bid. I'll leave now.....
-
You'll never beat the Ben Arfa thread. Ever. He clearly wants Spain but Valencia are skint, Villarreal have to get rid of Rossi first and Atletico would have to sell Forlan. It's definitely do-able, but bloody Spurs are lurking everywhere. Never seen him play, but he seems very good so lets hope we can push this through.
-
if you marry a footballer, you know what you're gonna get. they'll cheat, they'll shop around and they'll humiliate you. but a lot of women will take that, as long as she has a lovely house, lives the WAG lifestyle, never has to work again and he buys them lovely presents. it's not romantic, but it's true.

The Mags have photoshopped it
-
I just wish they'd run into a lamppost and get it over with.
-
Yeh, roughly. Just thought I'd be an idiot and gather them together.
