To be fair, west brom and blackpool haven't signed anyone either right? Not for money. Pablo has went to WBA and they've bid for Piquionne, but thats it.
-
Can't wait to see Barcelona play next season. And I hope Spain win it, although its not looking likely. They just need to drop Torres. Germany vs Argentina should be an absolute cracker though.
-
Great idea! Was thinking of this the other day, but never got thinking of words. The simple ones are best!
-
Couldn't even guess which way this will go

http://www.skysports.com/football/world-cup-2010/story/0,27032,12016_6236848,00.html Dunno if mentioned anywhere else, but this is pretty exciting. Even Blatter is having second thoughts!!!!!

Winter breaks, homegrown rules.....success for England conflicts with success for the Premier League and in that situation, the money will always win. So I don't see anything changing for a long time.

Set the odds WELL high for obvious favourites and let us know where you are working. Consider it done

Darijo Srna surely! He never signs for me. I now consider him to not exist. Gonul Gokhan for me. He's my Turkish delight!

I might be getting a job in the betting industry and was wondering which website best explains betting 101? I need to swot up on the basics, although I already know about over-rounds and arbitrage betting. If anyone can help, thanks

Dunga has used the same 17-18 players for a while now. He then got cocky and chose the 5 worst Brazilians he could think of. I love that strategy!!!!
-
Spurs wont be the only team in for them. Thankfully.
-
poor chile. i adored watching them play, but playing spain and brazil within 3 days was never going to end well. we'll miss you
-
If you wanna see Holland open a can of whoop-ass on Slovakia, give me a ELIA! ....i'll leave now

Another cracking front cover from The Sun haha
-
The Sun: 'Should they wear the shirt again?' D James NO J Terry NO F Lampard NO J Defoe NO G Johnson NO M Upson NO G Barry NO W Rooney YES A Cole YES J Milner NO S Gerrard YES E Heskey NO J Cole NO S Wright-Phillips NO
-
The newspapers tomorrow aren't kind to him at all. Only a matter of time, unfortunately. What a shame
-
Its annoying because I'd want to remove Lampard, G Johnson, Upson, Heskey etc. but nobody is good enough to step in for some of them. So they play a few games until somebody magically comes along - they never do - and all of a sudden its the same squad for Euro 2012. We're in trouble, man.
-
If you keep Rodwell progressing well, I think he can be a big part of the Euro 2012 squad. Apart from him, I'd initially go with Adam Johnson and Joe Hart. Maybe Andy Carroll if he gets Premiership goals.
-
Rather have Mertesacker than Upson, even though he's not great either.
-
No doubt about that. But he did only so well with Germany because he had Löw as his assistant for the tactics. He failed badly at Bayern Munich without him - he only had some american and mexican couches alongside him. He needs a man for the tactics behind him or he'll fail. Thats where Chrissy 'Houghton' Hughton comes in.
-
What a goal Marvellous strike. I have a constant smile whenever Jonas is on.....can't help it. I think its love! Poor Mexicans though, they were royally screwed tonight. Not a great day for FIFA.
-
I really hope they stick with Capello. The problem is with the players and even though he has made some glaring errors, I have faith that he'll learn from them. You don't become one of the best coaches in the world by refusing to change your ways. And besides....who else is there? Whoever follows him will just be let down again, just like Sven and Capello were.
-
When the commentators said not many of the German players would get into England's team I was shocked. Off the top of my head I'd take Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Klose, Mertesacker and Ozil. Maybe some others too. They definitely have better strength in depth than England.
