  1. It is as Ferguson didn't play in that game, i think it was the on loan Man Utd player who scored in the game. except he did play. Not saying its true though, just he did play. See BBC report linked below. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24140580

Cardiff are having a mare in the transfer window 8 million for Danish youngster and led on by Wanyama and Ince. The thing is they scored few goals last season, their two big money signings Campbell and Maynard were injured soon after purchase, it was the fact they let in so few goals that brought them up and the fact that no team capitalised when they faltered. They will find the defense will not hold the same in the Prem and goals will be at a premium even with their two 'star' strikers back.

what apparently they believe he'll choose them over Man City. Also forgot the 12 million pounds for Victor Wanyama from Celtic.

So far we've signed Jose Canas, Jordi Amat and Johnathan De Guzman (on another years loan). We may have also signed a young keeper named Gregor Zabret. Allegedly, Alejandro Pozuelo is about to sign as is Wakaso Mubarak. Then perm any 1 (or 2) from Esteban Granero, Wilfried Bony, Nacer Chadli, Tom Ince (or has he signed for our friends down the road), Bafetimbi Gomis (although he's already turned us down) and Christian Benitez. Oh and Tommy Craig was spotted in Swansea, remembering his playing days perhaps or come to pick up David Cornell whom St. Mirren have signed for a years loan. Our illustrious neighbours who are about 100 million in debt have bought a young Dane for 8.5 million, spending 8.3 million on Tom Ince and 15 million on Oscar Cardozo. Their deluded fans are worried about their defence, perhaps Malky thinks that attack is the best form of defence. Don't you love the transfer window, its only day one as well.
  5. Watch this short video of Vincent Tan talking bout the colours and symbol of Cardiff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7T7ACCg5mKI&feature=youtube_gdata_player Next time you think bad of Mike Ashley, watch this and thank god you have him.

We were supposedly after Aspas, it is odd though, every player we get linked to Liverpool appears to as well.
  7. "The two Puma King stripes reflect the fans loyalty to the club, which is appreciated by all." No honestly, that's actually what they have written
  8. As long as we stay up. Be interesting to see what happens though. Will they attempt a QPR? Malky is unknown in the Prem and their squad is workmanlike rather than skilled.
  9. Thing is he's got them by the short and curlies, without his money they would have gone. He took over when they had about 55 million debt and promised to pay off thats owed and move the debt to equity. He's actually taken their debt to more than 100 million and no equity in sight. I was rather hoping that red being the lucky colour would be an annual change to a different colour, like the Chinese year of the rat etc, and this year was the year of pink or something. They were so scared when he said if the fans were not behind him he'd pull out, they turned up in their masses to welcome him back at Cardiff Airport, with we love you banners. Here's a shot of the welcome committee... Stick it where you want Tan old bean........... Yes they would all accept it.
  10. One of the wags on our site was quick to photoshop the offending article, of course linking it to their glorious leader and his Simon Cowell pants.. ;D ;D http://imageshack.us/a/img543/5651/87286552.png :iamatwat: :iamatwat:
  11. oh my god , looks like he's got a vest on underneath it :D different coloured shorts..... don't you love the blu... sorry... redbirds .... Getting everything right to be the comedy masters of the Premiership...
  12. I see our old gaffer is just in lead overall (I know this has been up for awhile so unsure if the vote has been reset at all). Whoever Martinez manages next, you will know how they will play. Ball on the floor, play out from the back, two wingers surgically attached to the touchlines and attack minded. Martinez's two biggest problems are: 1. Stubborn. he will not change tactics even if not working during a game. 2. Has no idea how to defend (and will not bring in someone to help in that department). If he came to Newcastle, I think you would find him very Keeganesque in excitement without the hysterical interviews. He may just work. I remember his first season in charge in League One, took over around Easter time from Kenny Jackett who had taken us to the play-off final the previous year (lost to Barnsley on penalties) and that year had challenged early on but had slipped to mid table. By the last game of the season he had got us to within a whisper of Blackpool who were in a play-off place, our last game was against Blackpool and a win would put us on the same points but we needed to win by about 4 goals. It was one of the most exciting games seen at the liberty, we lost 3-6 but all out attack all game (defence again). Martinez had spent about 2 years as captain of the team, preaching his philosophy to his teamates, he moved to Chester at the end of the season prior to becoming manager, as Jackett wanted rid as they argued on playing style.
  13. I would think a Spurs win, which would give Arsenal a need to beat Wigan.

  15. Didn't realise he's a billionaire, 1.7 according to Wiki. Thought he took a big hit in the financial mess a few years back. That 1.7 is net worth, how much is fluid that he can spend (or give away in this case), add that to any monies he's putting into the club to offset debts etc. Plus money for new players. Whats Pardew on, how much will it cost to buy him out? and the big question, how much a year is he willing to put in each year, seeing as most of it would be a write-off. Not sure myself it's as clear cut.
  16. Seems everyone's forgetting that Ashley has a passion for Londoners. So that means Harry, Curbs, Vinny Jones (never know) and who else come from them thar parts. Can he afford to pay-off Pardew though, seemed insanity to me when he was appointed, gobsmacked when the 8 year contract was awarded, even though I was surprised that he did so well last year, it does appear now that my initial assessment was correct.
  17. As much as I hate to add these moron's, next, hopefully for one year only, they will be gracing (ha) the Premier League. Their all deluded, but these are 2 most used sites: Mike Morris's Site and this one is run by a hooligan from time past, who write's books (ghost written as he's not good with words) glorifying his exaggerated escapades. We had weeks of fun quoting his escape goat. Anus Abraham's Site Their all prize plumbs and their recent threads have been about the supposed links of their manager to Everton, which they describe as a sideways move. Their past owner Sam Hamman thought they would be bigger than Barcelona. We have hours of fun reading their forums. Edit: Almost forgot to add, it's the Redbirds themselves, Cardiff .

Don't believe its already mentioned here, but Laudrup has already set-up Jose Canas from Real Betis for Swansea next year.
  20. In work today and some bugger called a meeting from 1 til 3 (8 til 10 UK time), so missed it all. Decided if I was to get the emotions of the game I should read this thread and was not disappointed. Have to admit, didn't think we would help you out as our players have been at the beach for a few weeks now. So glad we did though You guys have to get rid of Pardew.... BUT HANDS OFF LAUDRUP!!
  21. We were robbed against West Brom there by useless lino. Lamah shot deflected against a couple of west Brom players and back to Lamah who scores. Lino gives offside!!!!
  22. Been a good game so far, you guys came off the blocks fast at the start, then we had a great 15 minutes then both sides having periods of pressure. About time Michu had his 5 minutes I say..
  23. Hi Guys.. Hope its a good match, I've taken a few hours off work to watch a stream of this today We start with 3 wingers... we generally play well when we do this
  24. Not True, Garry Monk and Kyle Bartley are fit. Can't see Tate playing a PL game again TBH.
  25. Any truth that both Krul and Harper are out?
