Why does he want to leave then? Not sure he does, recent quotes stated he wanted to fight for his place. He started as first choice, then Shechter started to get picked. Michu was then moved into the forwards position for a few games, Graham had some mystery bug that kept him out for weeks, since his return, he's been behind Shecter, Moore and Michu. Only the last few games has he started again (and scored in both).

Would hate to lose Graham, we are looking at bringing in another striker, if Graham left we would need 2 in my opinion. Our other forwards Moore, Shechter and Lita have not pulled up trees when they have started. I note the uneducated press are stating that Graham's unhappy playing second fiddle to Michu, total nonsense of course, being that Michu's a midfielder, who only played the striker role when Graham was ill. Shechter's on loan, we're hoping we don't buy him. If Graham did come to Newcastle, he will score goals for you thats for sure, playing as part of a 4-4-2 line-up would possibly see him score more as well, apart from scoring he works his socks off for the team when he doesn;t have the ball, drags defenders all over the place.

That would be excellent, he couldn't actually play a game though he's already played for Swansea and Man City.
-
Amazing how Rodgers continues to sign players from ex-clubs or players he had worked with at ex-clubs.
-
The whistle actually blew just after or at the time Williams made contact with the ball

I was going to come on here and tell you lot that we're signing David Villa, it appears you already know. The rumours first appeared on our boards a few days ago, of course it was met with chuckles and guffaws, but suddenly its appearing on bookmakers sites. Actually I'm still in the chuckles and guffaws stage, but as a Swansea fan knowing that just over 10 years ago we were signing the top scorer from Ponterdawe, to be actually linked with a player like Villa!!! Who cares if its a load of tosh. As someone said, Villa will definitely be at the Liberty at the beginning of January, Aston Villa that is.

Routledge 2 and all
-
Routledge scores his second of the game, 3-0 Swansea
-
A lot of us were expected Kemy to start instead of Ki to give us extra strength in midfield, but I think Laudrup does suffer the same as every other manager, he prefers to play his own signings. Can't complain as the player I would have put on the bench for this game scored (De Guzman) and he's only on loan at the moment, rumour has it he will be signed permanently in January.

Routledge wasn't given much chance when Rogers was our manager, Sinclair played no matter what and Dyer was playing well last year. Laudrup played Routledge from the start, but in a different way, he brought the wingers inside, Routledge appears to have thrived on this and has had some very good games. Since Hernandez has been brought in, one of Dyer and Routledge has been on the bench. Hernandez started slow but is improving by the game as he gets used to the Premiership, his understanding with Michu is sublime at times. We have some great players at the moment, 5 of which are new and still gelling, think we will improve as the season goes on, we're not 'only Swansea' any more, this is a good side and not the league Two one anymore. As a 'plastic' Newcastle fan since schooldays (late 60's), I hope you guys get it together soon. I'm sure things will pick up when the missing players return, my fear is players like BHA will be cherry picked before by one of the current 'bigger' teams before long. You did play well at times yesterday, I was definitely worried during the first quarter of the second half, thought you were going to score then for sure. Did anyone notice that your goal should have been disallowed? Tremmel was held down with two big hands on his shoulder (Taylor I think), stopping him from getting up to make an attempt to save from Ba.

Swans team. Tremmel, Rangel, Williams, Monk ©, Davies, Britton, de Guzman, Dyer, Hernandez, Michu, Shechter. So Chico is still out and Kemy didn't make it, 2 first choice in the back 5, a light midfield and Shecter's first start. Seems it will be an interesting game.

There's a pub right next to South Kensington tube station that will definitely have it on. They usually have 3 or 4 games on. Can't recall the name but if you come out of the station and turn right, its the first pub you see on. Opposite a chicken cottage! Famous Three Kings

Looks like it will be a game of two make-shift sides. Laudrup changed us from last year, he's brought the wingers in, so no longer hugging the touchlines. He also wants us to be more direct, we move forward quicker and fast on the counter. This can leave us more open at the back. Our injury list includes Vorm, Taylor and Ki. I hear a rumour that Ki's replacement Kemmy is possibly injured now (hope not). Chico maybe available after 2 games off injured, we've been playing with 2 regulars of the back 5 the last few games. Davies who replaced Taylor, is only 19, and getting better every game and his confidence is growing. Did some well timed crunching tackles against Balotelli and Torres in recent games, not as good attacking as Taylor (not yet). Michu has been playing the lone striker role instead of behind the striker, he hasn't scored many since that change was made. Graham is supposedly not fit enough at the moment. Hope its a good game, look after our guys who will no doubt look for as many watering holes as possible, just remember we're not Cardiff our fans are civilised (well drunken civilised )

You're not going to be playing Liverpool, its the new Swansea. We play slightly different to last year an Laudrup does like to change it if its not going well
-
As a Swansea fan I just can't understand how players like Shelvey, Hnederson and Sterling can get into the England ahead of players like Dyer and Britton.
-
1-0 Wigan Ramis
-
It appears that if you play for little old Swansea you don't get picked for England, I believe this would have been in the mind of Sinclair when he left and probably why we will end up losing Dyer. How Campbell was picked ahead of Graham last year was baffling, Britton doesn't get a chance even in friendlies.
-
I see Brendan (I don't like to talk about other teams players) Rodgers is openly taking about Vorm now. He don't like to talk about other teams players but it appears he sees it as a necessary evil.

I hear this second season syndrome doesn;t really exist, I think it does, but its the manager that gets it. A bit of time in the Championship may do them good though, rebuild and all that. ha

I'm glad that guy managing Liverpool doesn't manage us, I don't think I'd swap Laudrup for anyone at the moment. I almost want you guys to draw with Villa (almost) just to see them in the bottom 3.
-
Just looked at the league table and saw we are top, suddenly my nose started bleeding.
-
think we had a bit of a charmed ilfe in front of goal that half
-
I'm so glad no-one came in for Vorm this year

For this year only we have gold trim to celebrate our centenary Ah. So you don't seem to miss Rodgers at all, is that accurate? who?
