  3. bloody hell.... a mackem talking sense! i didn't think i'd live to see the day lol. also the OP on their site, 6 games?! i'm sure it's 8 like hehehe
  4. if big al does stay into next season, i can see rob lee and gary speed being involved somewhere, i'm sure i read that speed was going to rap it in as a player at the end of this season, but i think for this season hughton/calderwood et al will still be there as is
  5. i think he pulled out of the international, something strained in training maybe. i don't know if it was just as a precaution or if he is actually cabbaged
  6. yep, and he said alan oliver 'knew stuff' alan oliver?! the man's got about as much grey matter inbetween his lugs as your average sunderland season ticket supporter lol
  7. let's hope big al gives nile a chance

    can see it happening like
  10. we could get joe a season ticket or let him present the stuff for nufctv. he'd be a lot less annoying that craig 'i have to over exaggerate my geordie accent' hope
  11. he don't like the south americans lol
  12. :'( that would have been a brilliant right side. i hope habib is captain next season
  13. we've had most of that decent leeds time at some point - woodgate, bowyer, smith, viduka, batty, milner so i guess it's only a matter of time before o'leary comes. he'd be better than hughton/calderwood though i reckon
  14. is it not the adidas 3 stripes on the spain players faces as warpaint? cracking shirt like, that in some sort of yellow and green would be smart for our away, if it's going to be a new template. i like the sweden one too
  15. i hope not, hughton and calderwood aren't exactly pulling up trees at the minute *smiles nervously* Neither was Kinnear and he basically owns the club now. very true *sighs*
  16. i hope not, hughton and calderwood aren't exactly pulling up trees at the minute *smiles nervously*
  17. it reminds me a bit of this design from world cup 2006 http://www.subsidesports.com/uk/images/product/large/HollHSSNo.7.0607c.gif i like it but i'm sure i read somewhere it was going to cost £50
  18. if peter lovenkrands drives a '08 black ford focus ST, i drove past him heading down to the tyne bridge (northbound) one morning last week. if he doesn't, he's got a doppelganger who wears adidas training gear and has a baby seat in the back of the car lol

i think (and i stand to be corrected if i am wrong ) that him leaving was a combination of a fallout with his wife, who did move to london with the kids, and probably a reluctance to just punt long balls forward under allardyce. nobby is back with mrs nobby and the kids as far as i am aware now too

i think it was a shock to the system being in london more often than usual with it being nearer the equator than the frozen wastelands of newcastle

  23. i'd rather have peter the great coaching the young strikers than talking bollocks in the paper, so a coaching role is much better for him than a p.r one.
