I vote there will be no announcement. The day will pass and we'll recieve no news and we'll carry on in limbo. Eventually Mike Cashley will come out and announce that a buyer hasnt been found. Probably after cashing in on a few more player sales.

How do you know we'll finish nowhere If we do finish nowhere and he's facing yet another year in the championship then yeah fair enough leave but I cant see why he cant stay one season. He's not good enough for the England squad as it is, He was last called up in 2007 after he had a good season. Last season he was nowhere near good enough nor will he be this season. So one more season at us will not harm his prospects, especially considering we could be back in the prem next season.

No we'll see how much he loves the club, now we'll see if he's the loyal supporter he claims he is. We need him more than ever at the minute and he knows it. Think, what would you do in his shoes, would you abandon the club you've supported all your life, a club that needs you and could well be back in the premier league next season or would you leave them in the shit? I think we'd all do the first one. We'll see if he's a plastic supporter now wont we, if he isnt and he truely loves the club unlike the likes of Beye, Bassong etc. Who have no real connections to the club or area like Taylor has he'll stay for at least another year. I will have aboslutely no time for him if he goes, none at all. O'Leary - out of the game for years Curbishley - left West Ham for the same reasons Keegan left here Strachan - I'd say there's not much between them & I'd rather Dave Jones of the two Shearer - presumably because he's a former player? Nothing to suggest he's a better option than Dave Jones at the minute. He is in fact more of a risk. I'd still prefer them 4 to Jones. O'Leary has been out of the game 3 years, hardley a lifetime. Dave Jones coming would suggest the club has been taken off the market or the club has been bought as he wouldnt come on an interim basis so if the club had been sold Curbishley would come and would be a fantastic appointment. Though I doubt he'd want to work under Ashley but you never know. Strachan is the same age as Jones and achieved much more. I'd rather have Shearer because he knows the squad and judging what they've been saying they want him here, plus I think he will make a good manager given enough time.
