Shite first half, better 2nd. Again playing poorly and winning. Our strikers, for me, arnt doing it. Is it our tactics or are they just crap? Ranger impressed me when he came on, surely has to start the next game. Harewood should be dropped, looked lazy, ineffective and uninterested, dosetn go to say we should boo him like. One player i expected much much more off was Guthrie if i'm honest.

Literally one of the worst performances ive ever witnessed from a newcastle team. And I fucking mean that. Forest are nothing special yet we didnt look in it at all. Where to start though? we were terrible all over the pitch. Jose Enrique looked the only half decent player and if he dosent fuck off in january i'll be very suprised. Centre backs were shite, Forest were playing with 1 man up front in Blackstock and niether Zurab or Simpson could deal with him. In midfield we were gash, again a lack of width. Not that it mattered as not only can niether Guthrie or Lovenkrands cross a ball but their centre halfs won everything in the air. Smith being the thick fuck that he is went and got booked after 2 mins meaning he was skating on thin ice for 88 mins of the game. Lovenkrands is simply not a winger, any cunt can see that, there's no point in playing him there tbh Carroll and harewood were ineffective throughout, the latter was shocking, absolutely dreadfull. Our gameplan consisted of Whack the ball up to Carroll or Harewood and feed off the scraps, two things wrong with that hughton, A. We should need to be feeding off scraps against Notthing bloody Forest. B. it was flawed anyway because their Centre halfs were winning everything in the air or winning all the 2nd balls. Everyone could see the tactics wernt working yet did he change owt? did he fuck. He had Ranger warming up since half time and didnt decide to put him on untill the 85th minute. And whenever we did work it to anywhere near their goal we decided to try and walk it into the back of their net. A truely awful performance. I'm fucking sick of away games, out of the 5 I got to last season we were shite in every one aswell. Fucking sick as a dog.

Hughton got his tactics all wrong imo. We were far too narrow. When you've got two big lads like Ranger and Carroll upfront then a bit of width and some crosses into the box wouldnt have gone a miss. Whoever was playing on the left weather it was Butt or Smith ( I couldnt tell as both seemed to be playing centre mid) is never going to get many corsses in and niether does Guthrie, he seems to be wanting to cut inside more. If we're going to play narrow, direct and through the middle we might aswel have had Harewood and Lovenkrands upfront with a bit of pace. However this did change when Jonas came on, Enrique and jonas worked well down the left and we looked more dynamic and more of a threat. Im pleased we do make noise in that singing corner. Alot of teams at home DONT sing at all. However as a fanbase we dont have a great repitoire of chants or songs. We didnt seem to make much noise last night and we were pretty much outsung, which we normally arn't. I dont especially like the "your support is fucking shit" chant tbh. We sing it at every team that comes here and it's lost its meaning. Especially considering the likes of Sheff wed's, Plymouths and QPR's support quite clearly isnt shit.

Decent signing. A player who's been capped 62 times, still relitively young and can play a few positions. Will come in as some much needed cover. What we need though is another striker tbh. If its one thing that wont see us go up its a lack of goals.

I think we'll struggle big time. Leicester are solid at the back and with Xisco, Shola and Carroll all big doubts I think we'll struggle to score. We'll probably have to go.
