Kind of. Isnt that why Managers get sacked? I think that he's just made too many mistakes, which some will be difficult to rectify. Nobody can deny some of his decision making has been baffling. Or maybe I'm being to harsh on Capello? Just interested to what people think really.

Go for me like. There's clearly no doubting his class as a manager, but for me, he's made far too many mistakes. It's not just mistakes on one front, it's mistakes all across the board. He's made mistakes no the tactics front with his Mike bassett-esque stubbornness to sticking with 4-4-2. He's made mistakes in picking players, we all know Emile, Carragher and the dreadful Upson shouldn't be there among others. It's clear that there's unrest within the camp, weather it be with Terry, player mutiny or Capello, there's evidently problems, with Capello only seeing the players every once in a while it'll be tough to get rid of unrest. His substitutions are woeful as well, leaving many of us scratching our heads in bemusement. You could suggest he's made man management mistakes, he's got absolutely nothing out of a talented bunch of lads, you'd think with the likes of Terry, Gerrard and Lampard this could well be their last chance to make a mark at the World cup, yet it looked like half the team didnt want to be there, something's clearly wrong if your team don't want to play at the world cup. One thing that I've found strange is his lack of grasp for the English language, he can barely speak it despite being here 3? years. If he cant speak English in an interview, how does he get his points across on the training pitch? We've underperformed horrifically at this WC, with what was probably the easiest group we struggled and then decimated in the last 16. Somethings gone wrong, mistakes have been made, but should Capello pay with his job? Or is it just the players? Do you believe he could turn it round? Do you believe he's stay or will the FA (who want fucking shot for his contract) will give him the push, and should they?

Dude, he's 20-years old. Well aware of his age, doesn't make my point any less valid. He's pace and strength, with erratic form, poor technique and no composure. Yes, those are part of the game that come with age, but good players have usually developed at least some technique and composure by the age of 20 (certainly the better ones). Would be interesting to see what Drogba's technique and composure were like aged 20. He was a nothing player at that age. Left Le Mans for Guingamp for 80 grand. Seems to have peaked at the late end of his career, 32 nowand at the top of his game. Having said that Drogba is a different player to Altidore.

f*** me thats a worrying comment. Lee, Muamba and Cahill are really the only players I could see improving our squad. I doubt Bolton would accept anything lower than 7M for each one which is way out of our budget. Your looking at the likes of Nicky Hunt, Zat Knight, O'Brien, Sean Davis etc. Nothing players. Words cant explain how much im shitting it for this up and coming season like.

Of course they're beatable. They like us, haven't been fantastic. They weren't massively convincing tonight and of course we're defeated by the Serbs. admittedly they did look very good against Australia but the ozzies did make life incredibly easy for them. On paper I still think we've got the better starting 11. However they do seem to keep the ball much much better and the way we played, I think we'd have been lucky to get out of their group. IF we can stifle Ozil, who looks to be their main creative outlet as well as keeping Klose quiet, we may be in luck. Their defence isnt great, and if Rooney can find a bit of form then there's no reason we cant beat them. They'll go into it slight favourites in my eyes, still though, it should be a tight tight game. Lets just hope it doesn't go to pens.

Whats everyones views on Altidore? Looks big, strong and fast. Technically decent as well, looks a good player. Only 20 so there might be a chance Villareal might want to loan him out again. Then again he only managed a single goal for Hull last season.
