White and Stones at centre half in a back four is ridiculously frail like. Suicide tbh. Especially considering White has been at right back most of the season. We're stuck in a catch 22. Play with a back 5 because none of our centre halves are good enough in a four, but then we play 3 poor centre halves. I think we're in trouble either way. We're at the end of Southgates cycle, he has ran out of ideas and we've looked really poor recently. We've been fucked by injuries and our defence is rotten. Even our front 3, which is nailed on to be Sterling, Kane and Foden isnt great. I'm not convinced Kane is at the level he was a few years ago. Sterling is woefully out of form and very clearly on a downward trajectory and even Foden has been on the bench at City for their last 3 league games. Bellingham and Rice are both quality but even then, one is playing in the Bundesliga and the other at a struggling West Ham side.

I know he meant it, but for me he was sort of on the stretch and he's swung a leg at it in the general direction of the goal and its happened to come off. A lot of great goals are like that in all fairness. I just preferred the Villa one where he cuts inside and rifles it past the keeper. Perfectly placed.
