Triffik game of football. Everton needed a goal that their domination deserved. Can't see Man Utd coming out second half flat and lethargic. They'll be right up for it, so Everton better keep up that tempo.

..and get rid of the smile while you're doing it. he didn't murder a puppy with his bare hands man I'm not sure why you've reacted like that. It was very clear in the interviews on Saturday that, he was seeing the funny side of the situation as well. There is a funny side, but it's best not to present it to the Panel, that's all. He seems to be a guy who is used to charming his way out of situations. It won't work with all of the people all of the time. I understand what you're saying. But the fact that he apologized in private and in public immediately shows that he knows well the seriousness of his actions. I personally see nothing wrong in the way he has conducted himself in the aftermath, and imo it's nice to see a manager who can see the funny side of things. It's a sport with very high stakes and emotions are so charged so often that people tend to forget that there are more important things in life.

Good for Harper to play, what if Krul gets sent off or injured in one of our next few games? We need Harper to step in, he's not as good as he was and needs to stay sharp so a game will do him good. I'd play Krul on Thursday and give Harper a game in the 2nd leg. think we might line up something like this, obviously depending on Shola's fitness and Marveaux not in the doghouse. KRUL SIMPSON WILLI TAV RAYLOR GOSLING ANITA MARVEAUX OBERTAN SHOLA VUCKIC KRUL SIMPSON WILLI TAV RAYLOR GOSLING ANITA VUCKIC OBERTAN MARVEAUX SHOLA

Made an absolutely vital block on Defoe? Deflecting the shot out wide in the last few minutes. Sometimes you don't get down to this level of detailed marking so quick after coming on as a sub in a tight game. Must have done his homework from the bench which is always encouraging. -
Pure love in motion when he;s in full flight

I love this board Great goal by the big fella. Demba's scored 1 in Ramadan, just. He just can't get enough!

Jonás Gutiérrez (now managing Club Almagro)

He was a real man out there today, along with Ben Arfa. You could see he's come back into pre-season determined not to be dropped for any new recruits. The purchase of Anita could see a marked improvement in technical performance to go along with his usual work ethic, from Jonas. Was really delighted to see him fight for the shirt like a man possessed. Top class player. -
Was very impressed at this genius piece of improv. Comes across as a bit dense, but that was some super fast thinking. Welcome back son!

He did. But he did back off Lennon for their goal, and you could clearly see Krul in the aftermath yelling "Tighter tighter!" in his direction. Why he won't learn this is beyond belief. Does he not watch replays of his performances?
-
His shot won us the corner from which Ben Arfa won the penalty iirc

This post is so last season man. Perch is for real

How in the fuck is this thread still on page 4? A captain's performance from El Galgo today. He was immense in the middle.
