  1. Absolutely amazing to see the camaraderie there. Love that they are playing games involving football. They really seem to be enjoying the basic feeling of playing the sport at the moment, which is a huge huge uplifting factor. As with our games recently, we have seen that the lads have played a natural game, rather than a contrived one. Has allowed the likes of Ben Arfa, Cisse and Cabaye to just express themselves. Top marks to the management and our players' attitudes.
  2. Aaaaaaand without further ado it gets trawled out. Classic LFC patent along with "we play pass and move football" and that sad bastard nauseating song. Next season eh? isnt that what you lot have been saying since 1989 or some shit? Why you can't tell it as it is, and admit that it's been a hugely disappointing season is beyond me. I really hope Dalglish stays if you think you've done alright. Really really hope he stays. Made for each other.
  3. Purely as a football kit, it is beautiful. The colors are spot on and it's a sleek, simple design. It just doesn't feel like a NUFC away kit. Would look amazing as someone's home kit though.
  4. With the amount of money you spent, its been a disaster that you are going to possibly finish in the bottom half, 8th is about as high as you could get now, if you think that kind of league position and from that kind of spending is anything but a disaster then you are kidding yourself. Yes you won a trophy, and could win another tomorrow but that only mask a deeper problem, KKK and the squad he has put together isn't good enough, and the main problem is that you have the most average midfield i've ever seen in a Liverpool side EVER, Gerrard on form aside. I think the real disaster may rear its face when they realize they will have to spend even more money to correct the mistakes of last summer. It's not just the case of being unlucky. Yes they have been unlucky on a few occasions this season, but not on as many as they would like to claim/think. Their squad isn't poor in terms of size, but it is very poor by their standards in terms of quality. Out of last summer's purchases, maybe only Henderson has a real chance of making a dramatic improvement (putting a side that he's been utter rubbish this season and a mackem). Carroll might have more of an impact next season, but nowhere near to justify his price tag. Plus, he's been the summary of how and why everything went wrong for them this season. IMO their real problem is their manager. I really cannot stand the man, but even if I were to be objective, he's dropped quite a few clangers since he's been in charge. His arrogant demeanor on the touchline and in the press makes a mockery of what is a legendary football club. He looks like a dementia patient in desperate need of a bath. He's also a bit shit at this management lark. Taking Carroll off at St James', at the time that he did, and considering the scoreline at the time and the fact that he was at least trying, has got to be the poorest decision I have ever come across from a manager, anywhere. It confirmed that he really is way out of his depth. What could have been of their season had Suarez not been banned for 10 odd games? As SBR always said, "if" is a big word in football. At the end of the day, as outrageously talented and brilliant a footballer he is, he is an odious detestable cheating snake in equal measure. From a personal point of view, I do want to see him chased out of this league. The racism issue is a grey area, and no one really knows what really happened. But I do believe in karma, and I believe the twat got exactly what he deserved for all the intentional cheating that he works so hard on during every single game he plays. With FFP around the corner, this may only be the beginning of a bitter and twisted time for LFC. Their problems are several fold, and the solutions are far from simple. Someone needs to have the guts to call Dalglish out for the impostor that he is, throw him out on his arse, and make a VERY shrewd choice for the manager that will succeed him. If I were FSG I may be tempted by the availability of Capello, provided that he still had the hunger. In addition to that, they need to recoup as much money from selling Suarez as they could. I couldn't give a flying fuck what happens to them as a club to be honest, as I have grown to hate them season on season since the first 4-3. Should they actually buck up their ideas and start acting like a professional football club, and should their fans tone down their unjustified arrogance and general cuntishness, I could learn to respect them once again for the big club they once were.
  5. not at all convinced by pieters Perch. Agree! Far better out there One never knows. As long as Pieters has the technical ability and the right personality to fit in, we could see him Pardew'd just as we've seen with a few of our current squad. Basically, if he's not just a big donkey type, then I would trust our current set up to get the best out of him.
  6. Well by golly it's a damn sound thought. This has made the difference to our season and to the way we play. It's not just Cisse, but also Ba. When defenders are tracking back with those 3 running straight at them they will panic. 4 defenders on 3 attackers, they won't who to double team, as one incisive pass will open them up completely. Simple but deadly from our point of view.
  7. Capello wants to manage a club in the PL before he packs it in. Reckon he'll be their next manager.
  8. We could only get 2 points from the next 2 games and still finish 3rd
  9. Just seen the interview with Ba and Cisse. What lovely people they seem What impressed me the most was Cisse saying that when WE scored the second goal, we took the pressure off ourselves. Love that there's no ego there. The last bit where Ba says we'll try to win on Sunday not for United or against City, but for us - sounds like the intro to a little montage clip showing the highlights of how we thrashed Man City at SJP.
  10. It's the best reaction when football can do that do you. The beautiful game rarely gets it's tits out but on that occasion it did. and they were lovely. This is one of my favourite metaphors ever. post of the year tbh
  11. Nothing amazing about it at all! Watch how we pressed them for the entire 100 minutes, and closed down almost every available space without fail, and you'll understand why Chelsea resorted to long ball.
  12. It's our destiny to surprise this season. We'll absolutely throttle this collective of prima donnas. Our favorite scoreline 2-0
  13. Superb tonight! Packs some talent does Santon! Strong mentally as well.
  14. This is surreal! I envy the lucky bastards who were there to witness it tonight. A word to the traveling support: You were absolutely top top class all night!!! Showed the Stankford Fridge "faithful" what support was all about
  15. WHAT A GOAAAAAAAAL WHAT A MATCH!!!!! I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS SHIT!!! I WANT TO SLIP OLTYPE A SNEAKY BACKENDER!!!
  16. Fuck me why can't they get him on the stretcher? Mikel should be ashamed of himself.
  17. Surely he will be given a ban for this in retrospect? Atrocious refereeing. Get well soon Cheik
  18. The passage of play that went through Ben Arfa, Tiote, and then Cabaye who played that deft little chip to an offside Ba was fap worthy
  19. Think I just spotted Oldtype. Does he carry an iphone with a yellow cover? Quite a handsome bastard Oh and what a fucking goal and what a fucking half!!! Howay!!!!
  20. What I'd give for a performance like THAT away win at Arsenal when Robert sealed it in the last minute.
