  1. Could have really been a cult hero up here if he'd mended his ways. What a disappointment tbh as he is a quality footballer. Twat
  2. Shearer by nature is a larger than life character. This is the only trait I see in him that gives me hope that he could be a bloody good manager in time. The single most important man at any club is the manager, and he has that "I'm the main man, don't f*** with me" thing about him. Graeme Souness also had that. Yes that is true. Obviously I'm not saying it's a guarantee to make him a good manager. All I'm saying is that it's a trait of a successful manager, and Shearer already possesses it. We'll have to see what else he's made up of of course.
  3. Not if he caused bother in the dressing room. Many a player down the years have taken royal bollocking from managers like Ferguson, Clough, etc... The very hint of any of them talking back, let alone calling names and attempting to brawl would have seen them out on their arse at the snap of a finger.

  5. Anything we get for him is a bonus, because I can't see many clubs being willing to take the risk. We were supposedly his last chance, and since he came he's been in all kinds of bother on and off the pitch. As Gol says, I think we'll now look to terminate his contract. Yup. I think Ashley will step in big time on this one. He wanted shot earlier, and I suspect as the owner of this business, he will not accept to pay the cunt a single penny more than he's already wasted on him.
  6. probs come back with an injured tongue or summat
  7. What a cretinous shit-stirring article. Shaun Cuntis is a dweeb, and couldn't write a solid piece to save his life. Either way, if this is true, and Shearer just can't seem to lift his squad, he should literally drop the entire first team, bar one or two, and play a full team of the youngsters. Just to prove a fucking point.
  8. Basically when it boils down to it we're all fickle c***s. Speak for yourself! cunt!
  9. I support the hope he represents in rectifying his mistakes and allowing Shearer (or in the event he wants no part of it next season, someone competent) to build this club up again and move us forward. The low ebb we're facing has always been coming after the relative success of the past 15 years. Time to rise up again. Hopefully quietly but confidently, starting next season. Oh, and let me make it clear that should Shearer not stay on beyond this season, and KINNEAR returns full-time, for me Ashley would deserve no more chances and must go.
  10. In before the hitman loads his gun

Does that song go."Oh how i wish we were Newcastle, and have Mum's and Aunt's who were different people."?
  12. why is it disappointing when Shearer himself acknowledged the kop, came out of the dugout, and gave them a wave and a smile? :omg: MIKE CHUCKLED!!
  13. It's not a dig at you personally MJ, but I think you'll find that nobody on here gives a f*** at this particular moment in time. On a thread entitled 'other clubs transfers' what would you prefer to read? He posted right after the Pompey game when everyone on here was down in the dumps. That's all. Hence the "this particular moment in time"
  14. With the entire Citeh squad to choose from, you pick their best player? Not another chip on your shoulder surely? If anything I'd rephrase that and put Darius Vassell or Michael Ball or Dickie Dunne did i fuck!!?? i did miss the point didn't i :-[ someone care to enlighten me?

  16. Don't want to turn this thread about Duff tbh, but out of our under-achieving lot, he is probably the one most likely to revive his career under proper guidance and management. Since he's been here we've had Roeder, Allardyce, Keegan, Kinnear and now Shearer. He's an experienced player, and although his legs have gone, a good manager could still use his footballing intelligence in a stable side.
  17. We'd probably sell Martins, Jonas and Barton. Then bring in Bobby Zamora, Nick Barmby and Danny Murphy. While making a profit of course. Murphy wont come here. Exactly. His performances this season piss all over our entire squad's bar Bassong's
  18. Shhhhhhhhh,If you say his name three times he apears. NE5 NE5 NE55555555555555555555555555555555555555555 HA sods to you all
  19. Howay old man! I was referring to a post you made on another thread about how we always do it the hard way. It's the only hope I have left in me.
  20. Howay lads!!! we can do this, and we fucking will!!! We're just doing it the hard way as with everything else NUFC related. One thing I've learned from these forums the past 5 years is that madras knows what he's talking about. madras for president/chief of the world
