I'm quite confident that if the club were aiming to shift ST's by making a couple of big signings, it would all be part of a planned out business and marketing plan, that would materialize at the right time. For this reason, and knowing Ashley's penchant for the sensational, I wouldn't be surprised if we were pleasantly surprised by events unfolding at tomorrow's open day.

It's the middle of August, and as most of you, my addiciton to N-O triples, but quadruples at this time, waiting to hear about who we've signed and who we've shipped off. Plenty of rumours (good and bad) are making the rounds, and we have a couple of incoming/outgoing deals in the pipeline waiting to be confirmed. What if this place (Newcastle-Online) went down for good as of this afternoon? whatever the reason for that may be (a nuclear holocaust, volcano eruption, dodgy Dave, or an authority ban on all football forums).... the boy has done well since playing away to chelsea in that 0-0, when sir bob had joined. i'd say, he's probably been the most successful of our academy products in recent years, and wish him well for the future
