  1. He's a coward who thinks he's made it because he knows the crowd will give him all the slack he needs. Won the lottery when we had al pards as manager looking for a strapping Geordie lad to take on the local pacifier role. Just shows how little anyone running NUFC understands about NUFC fans, and that includes braindead fools like Carver and Stone.
  2. The obsession by some on this forum by this notion is hilarious. As if anyone who didn't listen to the warnings of the wise few is at fault for McClaren (or any other) being here. I was dead against Pardew's appointment but there was fuck all I could have done to stop it. Some knackers coming on here giving it the "I told you so" and having a go at posters who tried to rationalize SMC's appointment out of pure hope, is just stupid.
  3. We will most likely go down IMO. As much as I have hopes for Mitrovic, I don't think he'll get the service required to score enough to keep us interested. Assuming he can score goals in the first place. Anita being benched, while Colback played showed that McClaren is no different to the plodders that went before him. You look at that Watford midfield, and how they chewed us up and spit us out, and you wonder why we haven't done that to teams for f***ing eons. 9 Looking very grim indeed.
  4. Because we clearly need the jordie passhun to stay further up-field at times.
  5. The only football we play, or try to play, is 5-a-side kickabouts in different areas all over the pitch. We don't seem to have a bigger picture vision for the whole pitch. We play with our heads down, and don't have anyone bar Siem De Jong who looks up and sees what's around him. He is crucial in this respect to our entire season. Athleticism and fancy flicks alone will get us relegated, easily.
  6. Well, except it wasn't Gabriel who fell, it was Koscielny. Gabriel stepped in to separate them and Costa went for his throat. Helps to actually know what happened.
  7. Diego Costa is scum of the earth. This utter prick doesn't deserve to be in professional sport. Vile cunt, and I sincerely hope karma treats him the way he deserves to be treated.
  8. How the f*** do you spell pronounce Waugh?
  9. He's a big unit who can move, dribble, and pass. He shouldn't be facing CB's, but should be up against smaller midfielders to take advantage of his size. It also gives him a better opportunity to ghost into the box unmarked/untracked if he has to come from deeper.
  10. What really gets me is that TOO MUCH of our play happens so close to the touchline, 45 yards or so away from the goal. It's almost the least goal-threatening position to be in. The amount of times the ball just goes out because we try too many intricate little passes is baffling. When you have a player like Sissoko out there as well, who doesn't have the best of touches in the world, it gets even worse. I understand we sometimes need width, and need to spread the play out by having good overall pitch coverage, but f*** me I cannot understand how Pardew, Carver, and now McClaren it seems, can't see that is one of the major ways in which concede possession so cheaply.
  11. It's extremely saddening that he seems to be immune
  12. He's the very definition of coward. The worst kind.
  13. It's imperative that he plays the number 10 position if we MUST persist with this ridiculous formation. Should we somehow change it to a 442 (or ish), he should be one of the two forwards. De Jong and Mitrovic with Thauvin and Perez wide might just be our best chance of threatening the goal at the moment.
  14. Should so clearly be a conventional 3 in the middle, or he could also play in a midfield 2 in a 442. He's not a right winger, and playing him so close to the touchline is like sitting in bed next to a horny Scarlett Johansson, and having a wank.
  15. This impostor is clearly playing the stats. The passing percentage and ground covered stats. Only to justify him keeping his place. He is a coward whose only contribution to his hometown club has been a couple of goals last season and an important block this season, yet we're told that he's a good player by all and sundry.
  16. Yup. When he's in acres of space he waves his hands wildly to get the ball, then does absolutely fuck all with it, either by losing possession or cutting dead any momentum. Really hate him.
  17. Never a wide right player. Should be in the fucking middle of the park. It really isn't rocket science.
  18. Complete waste of a shirt. Out of the players who start for us, he's the worst of the lot by some distance.
  19. Decision making at both ends of the pitch has been awful.
