Free delivery as well. Very tempting.

Probably not the best place to ask but seeing as the box office is closed, does any one know if the club will let you use Direct Debit with a foreign account ie an Irish account?
-
Not for £5m. A midfield trio of Barton, Tiote and Cabaye would be much more to my liking. He'd be a good squad player but £5m seems a bit excessive.
-
Spain are just lightyears ahead of England in all departments. Frightening stuff.
-
Surely Berbatov would be worth more than £6-8m? That's a ridiculously cheap price, despite his age. Would absolutely love him here but for some reason still feel another, more powerful direct striker would be needed. Berbatov and Ba would be a huge improvement on our squad, however. We'd be doing very very well to get those two.
-
If Henderson is worth £20m then what does that make Ander Herrera worth? Best player on the pitch, imo.
-
Apparently we're looking at Madjid Bougherra from Rangers as well as Vladmir Weiss (again). This comes from a chap I know who apparently knows some 'ITK's' at Ibrox. He said their fairly reliable.
-
A proven Premiership striker please. The right side of 30 as well.

So should Nolan leave, that could leave our squad possibly depleted of Nolan, Barton, Enrique and Smith- aye, I know it's a bonus Smith leaving, but his inclusion stresses the lack of numbers we'd be left with. On the flip side we have Cabaye (most likely) coming in and possibly young Neil Taylor from Swansea. However, if that chunk of our (best) senior players leave then it leaves us with a lot of work to do and Pardew faces pretty much a squad rebuilding task on his hands and, sadly, players like Neil Taylor wont rebuild the squad- we need instant quality as well as competition/depth. What ever the think of Ashley/Llambias is I don't have a clue, and I don't think anyone else has the clearest notion either, but whatever the hell it is they better get it right this time because this is our chance to build a platform to further progress the club to back where it belongs.

Racist! As long as he's not Jose's replacement, the other Taylor (Ryan) leaves, then it'll be a decent bit of business.

Haven't worn that in ages. Gorgeous top.

Good choice, the views brilliant from there! Hopefully I'll be able to get one in the Gallowgate end when they go on public sale later this week. Might be plonked near to yourself...then you'd be stuck
-
They don't go on sale until Wednesday so will give it until tomorrow morning at the latest. Will probably end up ringing this afternoon though. Just rang them. It has been renewed but I hadn't been informed. Got the move I wanted anyway. Good to hear, Ash! Must be a nice relief. Where have you moved to?

We have no foundations, imo. There's no proper vision for how the national team should set up and play, nor is there any systematic link between the national team and the clubs- ie like in Germany, where the 4-2-3-1 (4-5-1) system has been embedded into the club sides and youth systems to suit the national teams style of play. That doesn't help, but of course, there's more to it than that. Our players aren't near as good as we or they think. Simple as that. How many match winners are there in the England line-up? Rooney, Adam Johnson (on the odd occassion)....and that's really about it. Lampard, Gerrard, Walcott, Young or whoever don't brink that spark to the team and we just appear lethargic in our play. A settled line up is also very important. If Capello see's something he likes, for example, a partnership between Baines and Milner or Johnson then he should stick to that and let them settle. In the World Cup Spain played nearly the same team every team. It's not a hidden secret of the universe. A lot of our players come in for one game, whether it be a friendly or qualifier and it's viewed as a trial game for them- if they don't put in the performance of their life then they're disgarded and it was an utterly pointless upheaval for the team. Personally, I think if we had the option to play Scholes and Hargreaves together in midfield we'd look a lot better. But with practically both of them retired I think it's a long shot at this stage It wont be long until everyone pretty much give up on England. I'm nearly at that stage. The fact that most of the players are complete twats really doesn't help....I just find it hard to cheer the likes of Ashley Cole, Ashley Young, John Terry, Andy Carroll etc. Something needs to be done.

Oh my god

The only way he's going to improve and become more confident, leading to more consistency in decision making, will be if he plays. Simple as that. He'd be my no.1 for next season.
-
I just.....I just don't even know what to say any more. Wow.
-
Tbh, we were lucky this didn't happen against Birmingham a couple of weeks ago. We completely let them back into the game after going 2-0 up. Obviously something needs fixing in defence as we become very, very lax when in front against teams (more so at home).
-
True. Not a very nice club.
-
Players have to be blamed for this overall.
-
We can hardly blame it all on Smith. But there was really no need to put him on.
-
Jesus fucking christ!!!!!!! For fuck sake you fucking idiots
-
That was a seriously good finish!

His left sock was lower than his right one for the first 15mins or so. There's no doubt he wants to leave now.
