Only watched the first half and quickly realised it would be difficult to judge him in that very poor Germany set up. The dummy was inventive and showed his awareness and quick thinking. He brought a ball down very neatly showing a deft first touch. Sprayed a ball out wide to a winger (can imagine Elanga running onto those). Was a bit sluggish off the mark to capitalise on a Wirtz through ball. Totally fluffed the first half header. The worst Germany team I can remember seeing. He’ll get a lot more of the ball with us.

Not confident at all but we’ve no real idea exactly how transfers will pan out this season. Ekitike looks decent, Šeško and Gyokeres look limited but we’ve hardly seen them. Wissa has scored nearly 20 in his most recent season. We, potentially, create lots of chances….. who knows?
