  1. I think we’ve gone beyond that. We can’t replace Isak. We just need strikers now.
  2. We can’t replace Isak. We just need two proficient strikers.
  3. No other way to cut it - it’s total negligence at this point. Coming off the back of the season we just had it’s actually criminal.
  4. The list of fuckers for Joelinton to clothes line next season is getting long. He might need a hand from Bruno….
  5. CM was a bonus when Longstaff was still a warm body on the bench. Arguably as important as the other positions now.
  6. Surely we’re not spending the majority of the Isak transfer money on 2 x 30 year old strikers? That would be insane.
  7. I know we lack imagination in the transfer market but I’d hope we had alternatives.
  8. Where to next? Ramos? Woltemade? It would be an honour to tee up those deals for Bayern.
  9. Eddie Howe must be sick as a pig. What a shit show.
  10. Fucking shambolic this. Isak need to be told he’s staying, we need another striker (Wissa?) and we need to concentrate on CB/CM additions. The cartel have well and truly had our pants down this summer.
  11. Yeah fuck Man Utd just offer the €90m upfront. Do it now.

Palace want a fee now and don’t want him to run down his contract . Liverpool would rather pick him up on free next year. Player would probably rather wait for Liverpool. What happens if we bid £45m? Will Liverpool bid? Will the player join NUFC? Would be funny to force Liverpool to spend another 40/50m but if the player won’t move it’s pointless.
  14. Vlahovic is just a prop so Romano can say how much Man Utd want Šeško, fuck that ESL shill.
  15. Let him go to Man Utd - what’s the opinion on Ramos v Šeško as we are probably having to go down the list. Ramos and Wissa seems like a solid forward line but both very different players to Isak.
  16. This is exactly what we should be doing with all our targets. Whack a tasty bid in. Force other suitors to step up. Statement of intent. I like.
  17. All choreographed, ball passed to Isak who can now act as the downtrodden wage slave prevented from his dream move.
  18. One of the few levers we have in any negotiation (incoming or outgoing) is payment structure. We don’t need ready cash it’s just the artificial PSR accounting that restricts us. Telling Liverpool we want it all up front would be at least be us exercising some power in this transaction.
  19. Thing is we didn’t buy £150m rated PL experienced Isak. We bought a player with huge potential who’d shown glimpses of his quality. We have to remember that, we aren’t going to buy a player in that bracket. With that in mind, Isak shouldn’t be ‘for sale’ whatever the offer and his contract should have been tied up last year.
  20. This is just like the Andy Carroll thread from back in the day. Nowt new under the sun.
  21. They already look weak, they’ve had ample opportunity to speak out and put down a marker.
  22. Liverpool won’t pay £150m, I’d love us to tell them to do one but I think the next bid (speculating around £130m/£135) will be enough. There’s absolutely no leadership at the club at all. Liverpool are taking the absolute piss out of us and our absentee owners are just going to suck it up.
