Yeah read that a few times today, I guess it's been water under the bridge. I have an Everton supporting mate, saw him this morning and he was gutted when we heard the news. Fwiw, all the Everton fans I'm aware of are equally gutted at this and are as disbelieving as NUFC fans on this board.

Man Utd fans by and large have a pathetic sense of entitlement. Whenever they don't win, so often there has to be a reason for it other than it being their own fault. It is of course led by SAF - a great manager who will go down in history as one of the very best, but my word, he likes a good moan when things don't go his way.

I'm surprised by how much I've been thinking about this today. When I heard it I thought, that's absolutely tragic and felt really sad about it, and felt for his family. But I didn't expect to feel as strongly about it 8 hours later. Guess it's the shock of it more than anything. Never, ever thought this would happen.

Still haven't got my head around this. Unbelievable.
