Paolo Sousa? Dunno if consecutive years but seem to recall he played for Dortmund and Juve in the mid 90s.

Specifically since it was Champions League, or does it include European Cup days?

    David Squires

Stay at home, look over there, blame Craig Cathcart.
  6. Aye - and for that reason if you've got a spare fiver then there are a lot worse uses of it than having a flutter on this.
  7. All bookies' profits going to NHS charities.

    Players wages

We're in danger of getting a situation of people pointing at each other in a shit game of "no, you first" and missing the point that the mega-rich should be contributing, plain and simple. Yes it's obscene someone can have billions and not do something about this, but it's also obscene someone can have millions and dither on it. This is a global emergency, just fucking get on with it.

    Favorite NUFC Goal?

i remember liking this more than the Bolton goal, personal opinion is it took more skill. The Bolton goal is obviously great but I can't get over the defending; it's unfathomably bad.
  10. If you happen to have any money in shitehawk accounts (i.e. outside the established ones), now might not be a bad time to withdraw your funds. Can't see how the bookmaking industry isn't going to be badly hit with there being basically no sport for a while, and could see a couple of the less established online ones folding.
  11. Oh aye, it's so clear how much he has improved under Pep and the fact so many of his goals are close range, even scuffed, finishes, is testament to his intelligence of being in the right place at the right time. Just seems so awkward though a lot of time when he has a clear opening and really should have scored a lot more.
  12. Dunno if this has been discussed or not but am I the only one who thinks despite his good season, Sterling is an absolutely wank finisher? He fucks up so many easy chances.
  13. We haven't had that many truly embarrassing matches in my lifetime but that's right up there.
  14. Yeah it was absoluely rank. Ireland had no interest in attacking and Denmark were too shit to create many meaningful chances.
  15. Examples? I've not been paying much attention to the England squad but from the discussion on the Totally Football Show podcast, it sounds like it's going to be a proper ropey England side against a strong Germany. The games at South Africa, Honduras and DR Congo are all odds against for BTTS when form indicates it certainly should not be above evens.
  16. Seems to be loads of value if you look about today/tomorrow, which usually means me walking into bookies traps. And my my am I going in head first.
  17. So many League 1 games and below look good for match/team goals tonight. Say hello to being greedy and losing.
  18. Thread title change is imminent.
  19. You're wrong. I don't need to elaborate, but you're wrong. He is. He wasn't good for anywhere near 18 months.
  20. The rate of it getting out of control has accelerated so much in the past year. Generally speaking, above average players go for what you would have paid for an excellent player just a few years ago.
  21. Any strong fancies in Norway, Kaiz?
  22. The Sky Sports headline and Maddy McCann mix up is still amusing me. "Charnley had her all along."
