Not saying he's shite, like. But wouldn't want him as someone to be looking to to score regularly. So that's 8 in his next 10, then.

A bit more match time, as I've said, and he'll get goals. No doubt in my mind. His goalscoring record last season was pretty hand. I just don't think he has the quality to get many goals when you're playing badly. I wouldn't want to be relying on him to stick the ball in the net once every 3 games, or whatever. His best work came outside the box tonight.

By all accounts a fair few players didn't turn up, they got beat. You're away to lower league opposition too. Shite 1st half, however you had the resilience to haul yourselves out of a sticky situation and subsequently go through. Reckon there may be a few Mackems tonight quietly grinding their teeth.
