What are your thoughts ahead of our game, brummie? I would have strongly fancied us to go there and win, but we've had 2 poor results in our last 2 games which has taken a bit of momentum out. I think fitness could well come into it though, since we will have had 10 days off.

Maybe it's just me assuming his season couldn't get any better but I just don't think he'll have a particularly excellent tournament.

How are people approaching the World Cup in terms of betting? I'm tempted to whack some general tournament bets on before it starts, and just stick to doubles and the such... might even focus more on goals, FGS etc.

Everything points to you staying up due to, as you say, the quantity of shite in the league. But then I remember last year... If you can give 100% every game, I reckon you'll definitely do it. I can see you being hard to beat at home.

I don't have a hatred or indeed particularly tangible dislike towards Spurs. I was pleased Pompey won today, for Pompey's sake.

Tbh, if I were KD I'd be fuming like. a) for the refereeing performance which saw a few majorly questionable decisions go for Pompey, and b) for Tottenham's performance which just didn't seem to pay Portsmouth much respect.

I wouldn't be surprised if it still comes down to head-to-head, VI. I'd expect Real to win all their remaining fixtures with the possible exception of Mallorca. As you say, you've got 3 tricky away games.

Although Pompey got some very questionable breaks today, I don't think many can deny the players and fans deserve some luck after this hellish season.
