  1. And an 'FA Cup hero' He needs time to warm up - usually 4-6 weeks at a time.
  2. He wasn't faultless himself though, not by any means - caught in posession a number of times. He's getting really greedy/over-ambitious too if you ask me. I know he's fabulously talented and scoring at present but some of the efforts he went for today were ludicrous. That one right at the end was bonkers. i think thats frustration he isnt just manures best striker hes they're only real striker full stop and the rest arent as good as him Spot on. He's exceedingly talented but when things are going wrong, he loses it - not particularly in terms of aggression as it was previously, but he just gets selfish and tries things that probably won't come off. Lauded as a genius when it comes off, mind.
  3. Btw, how exactly did Fergie "want more than 5 minutes"? Baffled how 5 minutes were produced in the first place.
  4. Knee-jerk stuff here, but does anyone else think Man Utd have lost the 'aura' around them? When you go to Old Trafford, you think, "shite, gonna get beat", but it doesn't feel like that anymore. Granted, still a very good side, but I can't remember a Man Utd side losing 5 league games by the turn of the year.
  5. I bet the analysis is "plucky Leeds shock Man Utd, smash and grab." A shock yes, but they were unlucky not to score more themselves. Get in there, Leeds.
  6. The highlight of the whole 3rd round coverage should be our majestic win over Carlisle, right?
  7. Get Alan back to Goodison, and we'll give you a New Years treat. The return of Round.
  8. I've got nothing against him, however I sometimes wish he didn't exist. Otherwise, top bloke.
  9. This bit gave me a chuckle:
  10. Huddlestone £15m. FML.
  11. Add Allardyce into the mix and you'll have some sort of inept football-fighting trio.
  12. Funny, I could have sworn he's been shit and that his partnership with Yobo is like the Chuckle Bros on ice. In fairness, they've played a vital part. Towards one of our worst defensive record in years.
  13. I really liked RVN's vs Fulham. Just ran from the half-way line past the whole Fulham team.
  14. There was no beloved Wayne Rooney I think I'm right in saying, Pilko? But STEVIE G was there.
  15. Technique, vision, composure. It had it all.
  16. Sorry, should have said. Just a vote, they're in chronological order.
  17. "It'll take something special to beat Richard Wright".
  18. According to SSN: Paolo Di Canio v Wimbledon Henry v Man U Bergkamp v Newcastle Shearer v Everton Hamann v Portsmouth Rooney v Newcastle Matt Taylor v Sunderland Scholes v Villa Ronaldo v Portsmouth Bentley v Arsenal Figueroa v Stoke
  19. True, but to suggest players like Van Nistelrooy and Drogba should be in there instead is laughable. Shearer still scored a bagful in the noughties. As did those two. Hardly laughable to suggest those 2 have a good case to be included.
  20. Arsenal 1-6 Everton here we come.
  21. I know everyone enjoys a nice bit of extra cash through gambling but, Thespence, you appear to be actually getting rich purely through betting.
  22. From what I saw, the fans frankly never gave him a chance. And to be honest I'd not be unhappy if they went down.
