  1. Fantastic, really? Llamblias, really? In what way were you expecting it to be any better? ...and aye he usually takes the heat when it goes tits up, think he deserves a bit of credit on this occasion.
  2. They need a striker who can play with his back to goal, not another runner. Had to laugh at a mackem lad I was talking to. I commented on how Williamson looked to be a solid if unspectacular Premier League centre back to which he responded 'yeah but he was shit at Portsmouth'. Obviously I informed him of the obvious to which he said 'yeah but he was shit at Watford, he must of been they were in a relegation fight'. Christ.
  3. I must admit if I find if I avoid Jim White and anything Sky related I tend to enjoy deadline day. I'll certianly be watching this year to see who panic buys. However for once I won't be disappointed if we don't do any buisness. Perhaps we could do with a striker but that would be the cherry on a fantastic transfer window. Providing we don't lose anyone you've got to commend Llambias and the fellas for what looks to be some fine buisness. We've brought in players to address three of our major problem positions for minimal money. While there's no guarantee they will all work out it's promising Hughton is identifying problem positions and trying to bring in quality to sort them. In short we've given ourselves every chance of staying in the league. We could still do with a striker but that's me just being greedy, given how Carroll's started the season it looks like we'll opt to go with the lone front man and the extra midfielder. We're knackered if he gets an injury though no matter how minor so a back up wouldn't go a miss. In case you needed one a reminder of our buisness so far: In: Perch (Rumoured £1 million fee) Gosling (Free) Campbell (Free) Tiote (Rumoured £2.5 million fee) Ben Arfa (Loan - rumoured £800,000 fee) Out: Butt (Released) Pancrate (Released) Foster (Loan) Top work lads.
  4. Forgot the ref was that fella who awareded the goal that never was a season or so ago (Reading-Watford was it?). Thought he was de-listed.
  5. Don't think the goal was Perch's fault at all. If anything it was Williamson.
  6. Beat Blackpool and that's seven from our first four which would be a cracking return.
  7. Aye it's his fault people aren't picking men up in the box. fucking hell.

We're a striker away from having a near perfect transfer market.
  9. Fucking hell aye, lets comapre Bassong, still learning his trade in England, who occasionally got wrong side of the attacker with Bramble who cost us a goal every other game. Some people on this forum defy belief at times.
  10. Ranger has proved he can't get in the correct positions, let alone score goals at Championship level. What makes you think he's going to start doing it at a higher level? Shola might be a bumbling idiot but at least he knows where the back of the net is.
  11. When will people give up with the Ranger bollocks? Christ on a bike.
  12. Christ I'm not saying he's like Garrard I'm just saying I'd compare him Gerrard before I compared him to Mascherano.

Aye just watch the morale drop like a knackered lift when Tiote snaps Carroll, Campbell eats all the pies and Ben Araf shits in Nolan's corn flakes.
  14. Has Gosling really done enough to justify a place ahead of Barton. Obviously we can only judge him on his time at Everton where he was played out of position on the right. He has a good engine and a decent shot but that's about it at the moment.
  15. Just seen an article claiming he's the replacement for Masch. That can't be right, he's more of a Gerrard type player than anything.
  16. We can't afford to risk him a season that could make or break us. You're talking to yourself there? s*** I'm going mad. Was meant to be a responce to your post. I knew it, was just pointing out your quoting-fail. 'Responce' too. I think I need to hit the hay.
  17. We can't afford to risk him a season that could make or break us. You're talking to yourself there? Shit I'm going mad. Was meant to be a responce to your post.
  18. Was always on the cards since they bought Moutinho.
  19. Gosling seems the exact opposite of Guthrie. Guthrie is a good passer of the ball with no engine, Gosling has a decent engine but isn't the best mover of the ball. Both have a decent shot on them like.
  20. R. Taylor can't defend for shit though, bit of a problem if he's playing the back four.
  21. They should of done Feethams up. Cracking little ground with loads of character. Instead they opted to build that monstrosity so Reynolds could have his name in lights.
  22. Would take it as a pinch of salt if only the Mail are reporting it.
  23. We can't afford to risk him a season that could make or break us.
