Has to be one of the most tedious, drawn out, overhyped, overly flashy, self absorbed snoozefests around. Still hope it's a decent draw like.

The only reason Taylor gets the support he does is because of this whole 'local lad' bollocks that's still spouted by some. Aye it's nice to have some passion and genuine feeling towards the club but that should be flashing money at a player who will be struggling to get into our first team. On current form Williamson looks far more solid and reliable than Taylor, I feel much more confident with him partnering Colo. Taylor is progressing into his mid twenties and he still hasn't ironed out those daft mistakes in his game that were present, perhaps a change of scenery will do him good. Personally I'd keep him as our number one right back but that remains a pipe dream with Perch and Simpson at the club. We still need to replace him though. It only takes and injury to Mike or Colo and we're fucked, I'm sure Hughton is fully aware of this too.

After the first went in I was waiting for us to sit back and try to cling on. Same for the second and third. When the fourth went in it was clear Hughton had went a bit Keegan in the dressing room. I was stunned by our first ten minutes in the second half like. I feared Villa would come out all guns blazing and we would start to crumble and they might nick a goal and be back in it, but then it's the complete opposite. Barton was everywhere during that ten minute spell, and we barely even let them out of their own half. By the 55 minute mark I was starting to get confident that we'd win. I stopped counting the minutes required to hold on for the win around the 55-60 minute mark Same.
