With our lot I usually take silence as a good thing. Granted if we're dealing with other English clubs you'd expect breaking news pretty sharpish.

It's fairly evident that our PSR deficit prevented us from spending in January.

On a positive note, I enjoy that he always wants or shows for the ball and will always try to progress it forward, perhaps a bit too eagerly at times.

We'll have to improve against this lot. We must be confident given previous performances and the space they'll leave in behind. Wouldn't be at all surprised if we go more direct, like we did last year.

I think we've looked more compact and organised than we did away from home last season. The attacking play needs some work though.
