  1. I'd Go: --------------------Krul-------------------- Simpson---Williamson---Colo---Santon ----------Tiote----------Cabaye---------- Obertan---------Ben Arfa---------Jonas ---------------------Ba---------------------
  2. He's supporting Obertan - it's Ok and fair - by "lowering" HBA - it's not Ok - And why comparing the two now, while he repeated ad nauseam Hatem wasn't a winger ? It's pretty obvious that quote is a load of tripe. Pardew has nailed his colours to the master regarding Ben Arfa's position, not that I agree with him, hardly makes Ben Arfa a scapegoat though.
  3. Did I miss the moment when Bolton suddenly became a good team?
  4. I'm not sure how he's a scapegoat, both he and Colo were absolutely woeful.
  5. I'd say Simpson is a better defender than Taylor like. Neither are particularly good mind.
  6. Bolton have been shite of late, given our up and coming fiixtures we could really do with something from this.
  7. That makes me feel like crying He was crap today but he's hardly been consistently terrible. He'll need replacing eventually but we've got far bigger concerns at the moment.
  8. Simpson is the least of our problems at the moment.
  9. You'd sell one of our best and arguably our most important player? If his mind is elsewhere then he needs to go for the best price we can get for him. He was awful tonight - no denying he is a great player, but he seems to be trying to avoid injury with a view to going elsewhere. I don't want to lose a focussed Tiote, but this new, not improved version? Not really that arsed. Any evidence of this, or just the one poor display? No evidence no, just what I thought based on tonight's game. The old Tiote was brave to the point of being reckless, but there was no challenges going in tonight that I saw and no real interest. It could just be a minor blip, but if/when he goes to Chelsea in Jan I an gonna come back and say I told you so It's his second game back from injury, he might not be fully fit. As for the latter part of your statement, it'll be a proud day from you, I'm sure. Not really, I've just come to accept that every transfer window one of our top performers will leave. Its a sad indictment of where we are.... Any evidence of this either? I already know the answer like. Well I think the evidence of that is in the likes of Carroll and Enrique - players sold to the highest bidder and with the money never reinvested. I should say here that I think the Carroll deal was a fantastic bit of business and Ba has proven to be more than acceptable a replacement. That doesn't take away from the fact that we are a selling club and every player has his price (as alluded to by none other than the manager) We sold Carroll for a silly amount of money and Enrique wanted out. I'm not naive to think Ashley and co wouldn't consider a substantial bid for any of our players but to talk like as if a sale is guaranteed is ridiculous.

  11. He's solid in defence but he has no ability on the ball at all.

  14. Was it just me that thought while he played well individually, he didn't work in the 4-4-2? Admittedly he wasn't helped by Tiote's display.

  16. If Tiote is playing like a player leaving in January does that mean Perch and Coloccini are off too?
  17. I thought we were dreadful from start to finish. The way I saw it we tried to play football early on, some of it was decent, some of it not so much. Poor distribution as opposed to the long ball caused our downfall. Usually Cabaye and Tiote are provide quality on the ball but with formers absence and the latters below-par performance we were below par. Out of desperation we resorted tot he long ball, it didn't work.
  18. A lot seem to have forgot we played some good stuff early on. It was during the last half an hour/twenty minutes when desperation began to kick in we resorted to the ineffective long ball.
