The training ground sponsor isn't on PIF.

Ultimately it's up to PIF to put an executive structure in place to take the club forward I'd imagine overall they'll be pretty pleased with Eales given their investment has trebled in price, but some of his more recent, visible calls have been questionable. The messaging around the stadium has been non-existent, while the Mitchell appointment was rushed and has left a vacuum in the club at a pivotal time. I wish him all the best, but it feels as though his decision to stay on should have been taken out of his hands. The next CEO is an absolutely enormous appointment that will shape the short to medium term future of the club.

No one leading the football operation innit. There's a huge vacuum between Howe and Eales.

Aye, it is regardless for me.

Fascinated to see where we go next, target wise. I'd guess we'll depriorities the keeper chase and look abroad for a striker or a centre back.

Based on the "fair value" conversation, we must fancy Elanga to have a hell of a ceiling. -
Another strong possibility that hasn't been covered is that this was just Howe being Howe. He's always been very non-committal when commenting on players futures and refuses to offer guarantees Given how much he overthinks you can envisage him worrying about photos being taken and journalist asking questions, particularly after the Arsenal "welcome home" stuff in the cup.

This is the problem with Howe's comments, they're very unhelpful in that they're open to interpretation. That said, he didn't say anything about Isak wanting to leave or having his head turned, that's just folk filling in the blanks with the worst case scenario. It does feel a lot of this could have been circumvented by offering him a new deal earlier.

The way football goes continues to go is the absolute pits. City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man United and Spurs spending freely, while everyone else stands still or goes backwards. What's the point?

Sounds like Nickson and the Howes select targets and do the groundwork. Solis and Reuben negotiate the deals.

Thought we'd bid circa €70 million? -
At least it'll put the sorry saga to bed.

I'd say it's as important as a RCB.
