Can't help but think back to Gordon's Champions League interview where he talked about his preference for European football due to the more open, less duel-based football. You can see why. While he does have limited ability, but utilised in the right system, he's a very effective player. It's not really Gordon's ability I have an issue with though, it's his mentality. He's an enormous confidence player, you usually tell whether he fancies it within the first ten minutes of a game. He's also prone to a rush of blood to the head and has let us down in some big moments. So yeah, I'm sure Gordon would go to Bayern or Barca and do very well, but he does come with some baggage. More than anything though (and I accept it might be unfair), I can't help but feel he hasn't really been all in since he was offered up to Liverpool. Given a similar pattern of behaviour of Everton, it'll be interesting to see how he gets on if he starts to face a bit of adversity at his new club. I don't want to sell, but it feels inevitable at this point. There's no point in keeping a player who fancies pastures new.

A good article about Slot with a few relevant salient points.

Either us or his agent have done a very good job creating a market for him. Should get a decent price if nothing else.

Stefan Borson innit. Really knows his stuff when it comes to PSR and the regulatory landscape, but like far too many talking heads types, the ego stoke of fame has given him the vindication to start discussing or speculating about stuff he's clearly not familiar with. -
I dont disagree with all of this, but a few bits... I agree Howe can be both stubborn and reactive, but I don't think he's wed to one particular system. This sesson for example, we're more often than not 4-5-0 off the ball and 3-2-5 off it. My critique would be once it has become evident a plan isn't working, he often won't change this until it's too late. Woltamade in midfield is an example of this. I think a few players did down tools on Sunday, but Bruno wasn't one of those. He's said himself, he was ill last week and cramping up as a result. It was fairly evident a few had eyes on the world cup or were preparing for the exit door. I'm not sure it necessarily follows he's lost the dressing room though. We haven't consistently played a high press for two sessons now. Most sides will press to a degree and I wouldn't say it makes them less attractive. PSG for example are arguably the most formidable teams in Europe right now and they have a very aggressive press. Most targets moved elsewhere last summer as we were competing with clubs with more clout and deeper pockets. The football strategy of most clubs will be determined by the Sporting Director. The recruitment of both coaches and players will then fall in line. If for example, you wanted to be an aggressive pressing team, you'd hire a coach who plays that kind of football and recruit players who will buy into it. That way if the manager is binned, you don't need to rip up the blue print and start from scratch. I'm all for Howe having a voice in recruitment, as long as he isn't responsible for the overall strategy.

I mean it's obviously a bit. -
Depends how much time you spend on the football forum.
-
Apparently we have to agree to other conditions too.
-
The other data nonces, Brighton, are also in for him.

Vintage effort from Cologne to rachet up interest by taking it public.

Aye, I'm not sure anyone at NUFC knows the meaning of the word "imminent".
-
Ah fair. Saw be might be available for £25 million, which seems pretty reasonable in today's market.
-
When he moved to right back, Burn and Barnes weren't impressed.
-
Why do we do this to ourselves?
-
Would anyone take Summerville?

Just catching up with this. I can forgive some of the lads playing through injury, but far too many going through the motions. A lack of effort, joking around with fans and officials, along with moaning about Howe's tactics. Not a good look and doesn't seem an entirely happy camp.

He's been linked with us, Forest and Everton in recent days. We're probably the hardest sell of the three.
-
Yeah, it was a reliable account. Just speculating if it's potentially changed hands.
-
That said, I think that Transfer Checker account might have been sold as they seem to be spamming a lot more than they used to, plus a lack of avid Brentford support.
-
Wasn't a dig at you. It just feels like the amount of Twitter ITKs passing off as journalists is through the roof. The only one that seems to get decent info is that Transfer Checker.

Motion to ban Konur, Krrizz and that other blatantly AI account?

Just the usual waffle.

He's proper riled the Twtter lot with his "small online uprising" comments. That's a lovely old touch.
