  1. I doubt the competition itself is a draw but the extra games probably factors too Although, they are quite stacked at CB so will be interesting to see if he gets regular games
  2. Disappointed as he would have been a good signing, would have allowed us to spend the budget elsewhere
  3. Just having a quick check and in Feb we named 23 players in the PL squad 3 of that list have been confirmed today as being released (Karius, Dummett and Ritchie) Tonali will take a spot, Anderson and Livramento will be above the U21 criteria so they'll take a spot too, which puts us on 23. Which means we have space for 2 without any outgoings necessary Though, if Joe White is being kept on then he would also need to be registered and that then leaves the 1 space. Kelly is seemingly the closest so that would be the 25 After that it will be a case of needing to sell/remove players
  4. Was really good for us in The Championship, solid for a little bit after but really should have been gone a long time ago Definitely thank him for his service and wish him well

    Joe Willock

Hopefully with a more available squad and less fixtures we can be extra careful with his recovery A fully fit Willock is most definitely an asset, we just need to give him the time to get back to his best
  6. Joelinton will play in midfield Joe Willock unfortunately keeps breaking down, don't know if he can even stay fit Anderson hasn't shown he is ready yet And most important of all it's about building your squad and having competition otherwise by asking where someone would play you can only justify having 11 players, which I'm sure you know is absurd. We need to have 2 players for every position, so Gordon and Barnes are the two for LW, wanting Barnes sold is ludicrous
  7. If we sell Barnes we'd then need a LW too, doesn't make sense to do that
  8. Players don't always choose the highest offer. He may well go to Chelsea and who knows what his reasons for that actually would be. Just find it strange you've decided he's definitely going there when all he's done at this stage is listen to the offers available.
  9. Has he joined Chelsea? Must have missed that
  10. Or we could just wait for him to make a decision
  11. If enough knackers have made comments I can see why she felt the need to comment to hopefully put a stop to it Not sure it'll work cos knackers will forever remain knackers
  12. It's mad that people are kicking off about it, it's so obvious the reason we are doing it In an ideal world no one wants it but FFP/PSR means we have to make such difficult decisions Any criticism should be aimed at those that implemented and enforce FFP/PSR rather than the club
  13. By management I think she means Eales and Co, rather than management of the playing side
  14. I don't think he gets anywhere close to it but would like to see it
  15. Armstrong is very much is in the Huckerby zone Would be nice if he could have a good season and get close to 10
  16. I mean, he's scored the winner to get Southampton promoted I think it's quite understandable
  17. Armstrong started his celebration early, will look a mug if Leeds manage to score
  18. Great effort from James, a fraction away from going in off the bar
  19. Adam Armstrong gives Southampton the lead, canny finish
  20. I'm gutted, I wanted European football for all the reasons people have said (boost coefficient, players getting used to playing twice a week, Howe getting more experience in managing twice a week, more games for fans etc) so not going to pretend I'm not gutted. However don't really want to dwell on it too much nor am I going to be absurd by suddenly calling the season a flop/disaster etc etc I thought 7th was a pretty decent season considering the injuries, I'm not going to change that opinion because City didn't win a game that majority of people expected them to. Despite the disappointment no Europe can potentially have a silver lining and that is us being able to go full tilt each game. Assuming we don't have a repeat of the injuries then I'm confident we'll have a good season.
  21. Fortunately just off Would have thought the first goal would wake City up but they are just as flat
  22. He's well onside, terrible defending
  23. City are annoyingly sloppy, wake up you blue doylems
