People who were at the match yesterday: Do you think the ref bottled not sending off Weiss? I didn't actually see him grab the ref, I was bending down for a sniff drink of coke (I did see the dive though)

Just got back, really enjoyed the match. Guthrie was playing really well before he went off, the same couldn't be said about Smith though. He really needs to stay on his feet more. THought Vuckic looked really really good when he came on, and Morris played well (despite only having a right foot) I'll probably disappoint people here, but I thought Ranger used his arms too much, and comitted too many fouls (which were not pulled up). Good assist for the second goal though. Petrov was very good for them, Hamann was hopeless, and Weiss was exciting but should have been sent off for grabbing the referee. Good game though

    Obafemi Martins

He has the ability (like on Saturday with John Terry, on one occasion) to get in behind defenders and cause them problems. He wins so many headers in the air, the other players should anticipate that he is going to win the header. I feel sorry for him
  13. No-one else had the same dream as me last night? We were playing Everton away (don't ask why) and we had two penalties in the first half, both taking by Colocinni. First one he blazes over the bar second one he tries a little chip; fails miserably. Wished the dream was true, we beat them 1-0 with a Martins goal :-[ Moral of the story: Don't put Colocinni on penalties

He was class for Gateshead when I had him on loan. Think players just watched him with awe though
