Same, and I literally live 5 minutes walk away. Part-timer, etc.
-
Seen loads of Huddersfield fans walking up towards the ground, and no Toon fans.

This.

That it: justify yourself. Justify yourself to a man called Crumpy Gunt. Cracks me up sometimes does Crumpy. Starts quite a few threads and then never posts in them again, probably just sitting there chuckling at the shitstorm half of them create. I like all the posts from the people who the OP doesn't even apply to, who feel the need to justify themselves anyway.

Got £2 on us, Spurs & Cardiff. Bit of a shite bet with rubbish odds, but money is tight so not going for anything ridiculous.

I was thinking that. Thought it was N Rock/RBS that got Gov help. A mate who works for Barclays reckons they asked the Govt and were turned down. No idea if there's any truth in that.

I saw the massive queues like, looked a nightmare to get in. We were at the next turnstile along from one of the cash ones, and there was a canny queue there too (and it looked as though there were similar ones at our other turnstile options). Think we just timed it badly like. Everyone who had a paper ticket seemed to be having problems getting it scanned, dunno if that was just because I was queueing behind idiots though.

Indeed . I was sweating my bollocks off after the climb tp level 7 and stayed that way all way through the match. Still was about 10 minutes after I got home.

Still don't rate his kicking. But, did well today when called upon.

Aye was cracking tonight. Though i was stood on the steps for the whole game! I thought I was going to have to when I arrived at my seat to find the fucking Addams family lounging there. I couple of uncomfortable looks were exchanged, we compared tickets and they insisted they were in the right place until I pointed out that their ticket said row X and they were sitting in row Y. Thankfully they acknowledged their mistake rather than challenging me and fucked off. I was not in the mood to be teaching the alphabet to them. [/quote I got there and some old guy was in my seat. Wouldn't have minded, but someone else was sat a couple of seats away so there was only space for one person where we needed to fit two. Thankfully he also realised his mistake straight away (just needed to move along one), and I got my seat.

Didn't take a lot to be better than his first half IMO.

Well remember all the fuss the stewards kicked up last season - was a good laugh though, they give up half way through the season. Kids who want to sit should obviously go to the family enclosure - theres only the WHOLE milburn level 7 for them now - some 5 or 6000 seats to choose from - i sit it L7A by the way where about half sit down. Aye you'd be a bit daft to take bairns in there (obviously ones who aren't used to the atmosphere etc) when there's a good size family section. I'm LL7B, already better than L7F which I'd sat in since 2001.
-
Just moved to the L7 corner balcony, mildly annoyed that people want to sit as I'd personally prefer to stand - but thankfully everyone still joins in with songs (was very scared when I saw everyone sitting down the other day as I thought it'd be like the Milburn L7 which we'd just escaped). Think a few others would be more than happy to stand, just need to get them on side so it can happen every week. Don't think anyone should be told to sit down up there like.

Thought Simpson had an ok game tbf, not the best game to start his Toon career off as we struggled in general at times.
-
er maybe he just wanted to watch the match I really don't see it. Not with all the speculation and the questions. And with Moat there too and Ashley conspicuously absent. And I was at the game so I'm the new tea lady. Fact.
-
Disagree I thought he did his job well won a fair few balls in the air and kept at them when they had the ball. He's never going to be a creative mid. Oh and he did his usual stupid challenge of the game which isn't great but as long as it's only one per game Unfortunately I can seeing doing more than one per game, regularly.

I looked at the clock on about 84 minutes and thought... ahhh this is more like the Newcastle I know (bricking it late on).
-
Well I will be wandering around a field at the V Festival when this is on, so hopefully when I briefly switch my phone on after the game I'll have good news.
-
Wor Nile's canny in the air like.
-
Had a cracking view of the goal at the time, looked a good finish and SSN confirms it was.
-
Thought we were lucky, they made it pretty tough. A win's a win though.
-
I went to put that on, but I've monged up so I've got the 3 singles. Thank fuck I'm a mong.

Old Trafford, dunno the attendance for the particular game.
