That's tonight's wine & cider paid for. Are you suggesting's it's 95% luck? Howay Jill. Think I shall be embarking on a series of small-ish stakes but likely ones. An empire will be created. Sure! Don't know whether to risk any bets for tomorrow, or hang fire for a few days.

Could do with Leicester bucking their ideas up like.

I was out last night with some lads who work for Barclays. Ages ago they had to do a talk to some of the youth players about getting the right bank account and making sure their money was in order. Ranger sat with his hand down his pants for the entire thing then shook their hands at the end. So they've practically felt his cock.

That's worth a few quid like.

Used tonight's winnings on.. Preston v Swansea Middlesbrough v Ipswich Leicester v Blackpool No real reasonings behind my selections (it's coincidental that I went for home teams), as I've done shite lately when I've actually thought about what bets to place. £2 returns £11ish.

Didn't bother watching the match, pleased England won though, and emphatically too.

My first impressions are pretty positive: I've looked forward to matches; I've enjoyed actually being at matches; we've got some good results so far. Wouldn't for a second say it'll be an easy season though, with the squad being paper thin and many months of football ahead of us. Just hope we can keep up this winning streak for a bit longer.

Let's just leave it there, eh? Back on track, I am very much looking forward to this match. International breaks are fucking boring.

I have a huge £3 on Holland to win, wasn't going to bother but won a fiver on Chelmsford beating Lewes yesterday.
-
I really should leap to the defence of the footballing women in the world... But seriously, it is fucking shit.

No bets for me for a while after my immensely shit attempt last weekend.
-
Got no major interest in international football, but it's football to watch and a reason to wear an England shirt that I normally only sleep in.

Yes I would agree with that, bit of rotation between Guthrie and Barton throughout the game. Wouldn't want either of them stuck out there for long periods. Hopefully Simpson has the engine to overlap and the ability to cross. Still have a bad feeling Butt will be a regular. Agree with these posts.

Aye I know, and I'm the same unfortunately in that I can't afford to go as often as I'd like. I tend to think of 'armchair' fans, as referred to above, as those who are happy to pay their Sky subscriptions and sit and watch at home, and just don't bother to go to games.

I know plenty of people who care more about the club then some of the whining idiots I see/hear at St James Park. I won't disagree that there are lots of idiots who go to matches, but tbf it's easy to care about the club whilst making no effort to actually support them. Caring doesn't really help the team. I'm not sure that's what I really wanted to say, but I can't think of a better way to word it.

good for the plastics like me. It's shite for the real supporters though. Aye, fucking shite.
-
Would've gone to this as my mate is desperate to go (went to Uni there) but don't want to have to take time off work so now won't be going.
-
That is so ridiculous it might just work.

This is the first player I've had a crush on since Gary Speed.
