UEFA Women's Euro 2022: England are European Champions

No. Why would you choose to make the goals smaller and then harder to hit the target? Why would you make the pitch smaller and take away the option of longer passes etc? Its a difficult subject to broach, but for example the goalkeeping quality in female football can be seen as lesser quality than outfield players in some scnearios, but the answer is greater participation not "making it easier for those poor less able women". Its a young sport, participation percentage is lower relatively and females are generally shorter. Shorter keepers in the male game can be an issue, so it will be in the females too. The more that play the greater the talent and physical pool and the less of a "problem" (if it even is one, its just different) there is with relative ability. Dumbing it down isnt the answer, encouraging more participation as is because its not as if females arent capable, is. -
He signed from the under 23s for me on FM the other day.

I dont think Howe at all sees Ritchie as a LB if he were ever to play minutes for us again. He can't, he's a smart man. It'd be giving goals away and Im sure Howe knows that. He came on for Almiron against Burnley for the one example we have. -
Imagine there'll be more rotation. Season before last Zinchenko played a lot more games at LB but last year he didnt seem to trust Zinchenko as much to rotate FBs as often. Would think they'd go back to more rotation route with Cucurella, Walker seems to be getting more little niggles.

Yep, that will definitely be an interesting factor. Oh shit I totally missed Beale leaving.

It'd be unreal. Make a huge difference.

Can you get Ings and Watkins in together in your 11 you reckon? Seemed reluctant last half of last season. Ings would get you more goals in a season you'd imagine (injuries permitting) but Watkins offers a lot in link up play. Agree about him being wasteful, he isnt a finisher from what Ive seen.

I know Shelvey got injured towards the end of last season and he'd been playing before that, but I do feel there was a huge chuck of "continuity" about Shelvey playing. Obviously distinct lack of options, Willock not being in form etc too. But as Shelvey was out and not coming back in, Willock started to show more of what I think he's capable of (still limited, clearly) and he was the one making those forward runs from midfield. I do think it's the better option to drop Shelvey from those starting line ups and move Willock in. I think that's what Howe will do, personally, if we dont get another midfielder in. It will obviously depend on Willock, though.
