I usually like your posts but sorry that is rubbish for me like. Pardew was levels above this fat mess we have now and also Pardew never claimed to be “one of us” either. There was a lot of good football and we used to score a fair few goals too. 5th place and a 10th place. European quarter final and also we were in the top half when he left us mid season too. Also he generally talked the club up rather than put it down all the time I remember him coming out and rightly saying we are a bigger club than Everton for example. That season alone games at home to Blackburn, Stoke home and away (they were a tough team to beat back then), Man Utd home and away, West Brom away, Liverpool home, Chelsea away were all excellent performances and showed we could go up against the bigger clubs and give them a game. I really enjoyed a lot of the football we played that season. It seems you don’t understand “A lot”. We all enjoyed the 5th over perform btw. How have Chelsea not scored there. Walked the ball passed Spurs' front 3, then a ball under no pressure over the top taking out 3 or 4 players, then an easy ball in to the middle. Nothing stopping them.

Kane and Son do so much of the heavy lifting it's unreal. They are most involved in the high press and generally set the tempo for it in the opposition half to the half way line. It's like them doing that gives the other players the instruction to follow. Spurs always get the ball to Kane and Son on or even just before the half way line when breaking from the back, then it's generally the Kane and Son show from then unless perhaps a lucky runner picks up the ball around the box that they've got there. Unreal they dont have like for likes on the bench if that's the only way they can play. Which it seemingly is. Based on this half Vinicius is absolutely not a willing presser either. Is he fuck chasing anyone with the ball toward the half way line. It means Spurs' setup then just allows Chelsea to wander in to their half with the ball.

Without the work rate up top Spurs offer very little. Son seems to drop off too when Kane's not playing to compound things. Can't understand why Kane's still there. Could be priced out of a move anywhere I suppose.

Think you're likely correct. Trouble he has at Brighton is to play that kind of football you really need quality players to pull it off week in week out (Bielsa at Leeds an obvious exception cos Bielsa). A good, prolific, if not top class striker, like Wilson or Antonio, allows for that kind of team set up by being able to take the chances that are created, without focusing training on the final 3rd so much. Focus on building from the back, good in possession, swift and smart in your passing and get forward quickly and in numbers. Then get it in the box and give whoever 3 chances a game and they get 1 or 2. Just because they can. Clearly struggles without that. We could easily play that style and be a dangerous team. ASM, Miggy and Wilson in Brighton's team would shit all over us.

For all the ability Brighton have in bringing the ball forward and getting in to very good goalscoring positions, the decision making and quality in the box is awful. It's amazing. If they had a striker like Antonio or Wilson they'd be a lot higher.

Doubtful. It's a local IP ban I'd imagine. You're not going to share that at any point. Maybe your phone's data IP was briefly on a banned list the forum checks against. It's happened to me when Ive been using a VPN. The VPN IP was on a banned list somewhere so the forum blocked me as banned. Unless you were on wifi on your phone. Then I dunno.

No one has an issue with differing opinions. But repetitive shitposting of the same unsubstantiated nonsense in response to ongoing legitimate conversation between posters has a limit. No one is against positive takeover talk or posters exclaiming their hopes and aspirations for the club in any sense, but there's a difference between opinionated conversation and mindless nonsense which contributes nothing to the discussion, is designed to drown out anything else and generally just bring everything else down to that level.
