Report: New kit deal agreed with Puma
Super Duper Branko Strupar replied to Dave's topic in Football
Cheap crap. Though its what I'd expect from Puma, they haven't made owt good since 1995 Puma Kings -
They're planning to show all PL games live?
-
I'd say both Gerrard and Fabregas are better players when you take them out of their respective teams for a start and thats just in England. I jizz all over watching Iniesta play as well
-
Think it has a lot to do with his role in the team and the teams ethos that he scores so many and gets so many assists. Cant disagree he's class, but he isnt second only to Xavi worldwide, thats a bit outrageous.

Rooney does more in general. Drogba is a world class striker, and a very good footballer but you just get more from Rooney and I think Rooney has given more this season.
-
They'd be a sh*t hot pairing. Would work wonderfully together I reckon
-
Anyone know their respective assists count or any other stats other than goals?

Stay off the juice Lineker

What a f***ing mong you are then. Storied team like Forest? You'd rather hear 1-0 to the famous team sang again? Clueless as f***, and judging by your sig you "support" Barcelona, then why the f*** are you on this forum then? Absolute clown. The most boring option :colo: doubt its as boring as watching Sky Sports on a Sunday night, rather than actually f***ing going to the games, what a complete loser.

Would love to see Blackpool do it and Holloway in the Prem, but always have a soft spot for Leicester. As long as its not the Sheep shagging thugs or the deluded wannabes

Both Liverpool and Fulham could be in danger of going out here if Athleitco and HSV early performances are anything to go on

Apologies, couldn't help munchin' that 'e' before i posted it

Hughton: Carroll could be the new Crouch
Super Duper Branko Strupar replied to Thespence's topic in Football
Correct! -
Wouldn't want Hunt like. He's 28, average and Wolves had £5mil rejected. Now I know that'll change when Hull go down but I wouldn't pay over £2mil for him and we don't want to enter bidding wars with clubs for forgettable players.

Vuckic will at least come off the bench. Hope he gets a good f**king Roar as well, make him feel more a part of the set up -
It'd be tough to balance Toon/Heed/Scum, if Heed get more fans, police wise. Toon Scum already alternate home/away, not sure what would happen with a third team in the mix, probably Monday Night home games for someone. I thought about this but surely Northumbria Police should be able to cope with the Scum and Gateshead playing on the same day? If not then they could draft in officers from Cleveland Police or somewhere. They wouldn't come up here to police... Not enough processed chicken and cheese baked food stuffs to maintain their calorie intake

Hughton: Carroll could be the new Crouch
Super Duper Branko Strupar replied to Thespence's topic in Football
I wouldnt say it was something he 'badly needs to work on'. Its not like if he doesnt practice his shooting in training over the summer and puts some extra curricular shooting in as well that he's going to stop being a good footballer and the rest of his future is doomed. He doesnt get too many chances with his feet, we put crosses in for him, so he scores headers. He is inexperienced in front of goal, his thinking time and decisions aren't like Rooneys, Torres etc. But look at Defoe, he only started scoring in the last couple of years. He's a good prospect, a very good header of the ball, competent with the ball at his feet (he may not carry the ball as far as Jonas but he still looks like he has it under control at least) decent touch and learning well. I don't get your disdain with Carroll. Such a bad example man, sorry. I'm sure if you watched a video of 'Jermain Defoe 04-08 at Spurs' you'd agree more. Or dig out forum posts on defoe in 05/06.... much the same I would bet. No he wouldn't. Haha. Surely you must agree... Jermain Defoe was criticised for his inconsistency, wild shooting, not scoring enough, being quick and getting into positions and not taking them after showing promise.... Pretty much the same arguement you are putting forward for Carroll, but they are different players with different abilities. Thats all I'm saying, and look at him now, considered a quality goal scorer and that hasn't been the case for very long! I just dont think we should be hounding a 21 year old for weaknesses in his abilities.
