They've been awful Was just the two minutes tbf . What was that all about with Conte btw?
-
Just having a look at Liverpool Chelsea. Chelsea look up for it.
-
The couple of times we've looked vulnerable have been when they've punted the ball in the general direction of Defoe. I'd be slightly more confident if we were 3-4-3 tbh.
-
They're set up to defend and then try to hit it long for Defoe. Working so far.
-
They look well-organized so far. Little niggly fouls. Just tried to donate us a goal though.

We were talking about this in a thread about Oliver whathisname - the English kid who went to Germany and is supposedly being paid 30Kpw. Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea and Man U routinely pay their young players far more than most clubs can afford. Somebody said that Jenkinson was getting paid something like that (30-40Kpw).
-
If this is true, then God know how low the first bid must have been.

Lawro predicts Sunderland to beat us 1-0. I wouldn't normally be worried, but he's got our last seven games right, including predicting the exact 2-2 score last week. Mind you, that's probably because we won the other six. He still hasn't predicted a loss for either Liverpool or Arsenal, including predicting 1-1 for Liverpool against Chelsea this week. Edit: He's predicted 15 draws for Everton, and a grand total of three points for Hull .

If we can beat Norwich, then we'll be playing you guys in the next round of the FA Youth Cup.
-
Somebody said that they are likely to be fielding two players that have scored for them this season...and one of those is Borini, who has scored one goal.
-
Alderweireld, Kane and Rose should all be fit to play. Only missing Trippier, Vertonghen and Lamela now. Feels awfully like the kind of game we'll arse up.

My fat eyes thought it had vanished.

https://www.facebook.com/ynfafootball/videos/1262932633743629/ Sounds fair enough tbh.

Aye. Seem to be a lot more lenient over here than in La Liga for example. Spanish refs appear to have no common sense at all though.
-
They did get Chris Martin to take it. Probably had a rush of blood to the head.
-
Bet his leg feels all Crunchie now.
-
Serious? Be amazed if we don't go up automatically, just a matter of which of the two of us wins it. Howay... It's genuinely difficult to tell sometimes.
-
Not very realistic though, because he's telling the truth.

He's on a reported £30k a week plus bonuses man He'd not be on anywhere near that at any of the other clubs. Jenkinson is apparently on £40k at Arsenal. Any lad going for over £10m should expect good money You're right to an extent, but again, you've given Arsenal as an example. They have a huge wage bill and are known for paying their youngsters that come through their academy extremely well. The really big clubs pay insane wages. The smaller clubs pay extremely good wages, but I am still not convinced that many Premier League clubs would have been prepared to pay Burke 30Kpw plus bonuses etc. I'm just not. It's pissing in the wind a bit because we don't have proper numbers, but here's a fairly good guess: http://www.totalsportek.com/money/manchester-united-player-salaries/ They have Lingard at 25Kpw and Rashford at 20Kpw. That sounds plausible. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3891884/Jesse-Lingard-set-sign-new-four-year-deal-Manchester-United-line-new-Adidas-contract.html Widely reported that Lingard has doubled wages to £60k Quite - insane money. The top four money teams have been paying 20-30Kpw to the better youngsters for a while. Us and the teams originally after Burke just can't/won't pay that much. Supposedly Alli started with Spurs on just over 10Kpw: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/tottenham-hotspur-midfielder-dele-alli-likely-to-double-wages-with-new-deal-a6740661.html

He's on a reported £30k a week plus bonuses man He'd not be on anywhere near that at any of the other clubs. So you don't think any of the Pl clubs mentioned would pay him £30,000 a week? Seriously? Look at the money being payed these days. £30,000 is nothing. I think that we were actually at the front of the queue: http://www.squawka.com/news/oliver-burke-i-was-going-to-visit-tottenham-before-bundesliga-move/789732 I can pretty much guarantee - as far as is possible - that there is no way we would have been paying him anywhere near 30Kpw. Is that really what he's getting? There are a few reasons that Chelsea and Man City mop up most of the best young talent, and paying s***-tons of cash is number 1. Despite the ludicrous wages earned at the top two or three clubs, kids at Spurs and so, presumably, at Palace/Boro/West Brom will not be earning anything like that amount. We genuinely cannot afford it. Edit: I'm not sure that QPR of that time are the best yardstick either .

A gentle introduction: Hmm.

Works as a general statement tbh.

Also, the tunnel window is one-way . I'd be tempted if I had, y'know, infinite money.
