We've had several injuries to key players throughout the whole season and dealt with them. Right now we have our smallest amount of injured players all season, and that's still Corluka, Kranjcar, Gallas, Dawson, Rose and Huddlestone. Luckily they're all back-ups. For example, in the first match of the season we played Livermore and Kranjcar in the middle. They are currently our fourth and fifth choice CMs. Who are your fourth and fifth choice CMs? I think you're right in that Newcastle are in the mix, and that if you continue playing the way you have I can see you getting results against Man U, Man City and/or Chelsea, but your squad is still a bit of a worry. Who's going to the African Nations Cup? I think Pardew has to bolster the squad in January - if you are still there or thereabouts he should get the opportunity to do so. Edit: Forgot about Huddlestone. Livermore and Kranjcar are our 5th and 6th choice CMs.

class that That IS class. Do the same for us, substituting Newcastle for Spurs in the Top 6, we're averaging 3 points a game. I'll take that.

Malta better than Wales and Northern Ireland?
-
Apparently our starting XI today cost less in transfer fees than Carroll and Suarez. Meaningless, but just saying.
-
Amid all the talk of Newcastle's easy start (only played two of the topseven) people ignored Chelsea (only played one before today). Maybe they'll be the team to drop out. Unless RVP gets injured, obviously.

Not sure I follow. You don't want them early? Or you want them to be on TV tomorrow?
-
How did the lack of bad thoughts work out for Celtic?
-
All of the above. When we got fourth, we were comfortably better than them, but it was only a matter of time. And money. Lots of money.

Bosnia is well-known for its mild, sunny winters too.

The ref.

No idea, turned TFLS off ages ago. You've got some real staying power. They showed it here. He definitely kept getting in the way of the guy taking the free kick, just a little step to the side. What a waste of time.

Swansea looking great with the ball, but didn't really look like scoring until then. Enjoying this.

Get rid of Junior, but not so bad that he can't sign for us in a few months time Cant see him playing to be honest. I think Blackburn will be putting a pretty s*** team out considering they have a huge game away to Norwich on the Saturday. I don't know if Kean can afford to put a shitty team out - his neck seems to be on the line every game.

Anyone particular you want us to injure on Sunday?
-
It disgusts me. I agree with you, you can see why Marseille have struggled this year. What's the deal with the stadium? One stand being rebuilt and thus closed all season?
-
Just seen the Iniesta goal - sweet as.
-
If Van Persie gets injured - never likely to be far away - this really is a ropey Arsenal team.
-
He looks like some random they found down the park. Does that old Tony Adams thing of blowing out his cheeks every time he makes a simple pass - like it's a massive effort.
-
Indeed. They don't do ANYTHING. I suppose it saves the ref a bit of a walk to check the nets are attached.
-
Mint, another Arsenal defender down. Pity it's Jenkinson, like.
-
This Marseille kit is just horrible, Baba.
-
That Marseille handball there. Fair point from the commentator, what exactly is the point of having the officials by the goal if they don't spot things like that?

We would want it under our original proposal, with Crystal Palace getting upgraded. Who wouldn't - it would be a way of getting a cracking big stadium on the (relative) cheap with excellent travel links. Sure, there's an element of wanting to stop West Ham getting it, but only because it is such a fantastic opportunity. Planning permission at WHL isn't so much of an issue now, it's more that the cost (compared to blagging the Olympic Stadium) is far greater. We were up front about ripping up the track from day one. I'm not clear on how this would work with money. The most recent plan was for West Ham to rent it for a couple of mill a year, which would not be practical for the O's. The previous plan was for West Ham to buy it with the council's money - again, unlikely to happen for the O's. As for filling it - the whole think reeks of Meadowbank Thistle (for those with long memories). Think it's 40 mill. The whole thing is a pain in the arse. Frankly, I wish they'd burn the whole thing down too, but that would be a shitload of taxpayers' money up in smoke so they've got to do something. Every option has something wrong with it.

Referee. Jesus. Honestly, some European refs seem to be making it up as they go along.
