Dont understand people who keep going on at the players. Reality is we all know theyve been s***, ofcourse they have. The manager knows that & its down to many many things. This fact does not then justify any result going against us unfairly. You cannot go "oh but its deserved because we're crap". Complete nonsense. We've had a goal disaalowed v portsmouth, 1 offside & one foul against liverpool both end up as goals, against boro we score a ridiculously unlucky own goal, yesterday we've two off the line...hit a post..had a goal dissallowed & had a player sent off. Having already been the side with the most red cards & pens against by far this season. If ever we're allowed to feel unlucky as f*** it is right this very moment. We deserved a point. Viduka of all players deserved his goal. Theres was nothing undeserved about it. If you score a goal you deserve it, the players overall performance doesnt come into it. If they did enough to get it into a goalscoring position & then get the goal. How in the fuck were we "not good enough".

No reason why that wouldnt be the team. He'll care about nothing but preserving Man utds players for the final.

Hopefully young stays out. Then we'll have to watch out for Carew...hes one of the few that seems to still be doing well for Villa recently.

missed a couple of sitters though. should have had 1 or 2. Sitters? As in chances he should have taken. The one that hit the post, and the one late on in the second half. Shearer would have been proud to score those. Hed have finished both chances with ease. Martins finishing has been dodgy recently, whether its down to his injury/confidence is another thing.

Horrible this Knew we couldnt count on bolton the twats. Atleast now the players wont take it easy i suppose...they did step up for the boro game. Clearly took it to easy today....and its cost us. Gonna be crap waiting for Sunday now....im still struggling to come to terms with the idea of us actually getting relegated. Generally though i feel we'll still come through it. Its just like Newcastle to drag us through this & still make it at the end.

We'd have to change it all in the end regardless. You give a team an entire season against championship standard, they're not going to miraculously rise to premiership standard again quickly afterwards. So even those that stay, will probably not be worth it much if we got back up. They'd atleast need time to get even half back to the crap level theyre at now.

he could have chipped him easily, gone for the roof of the net. Put it under swahcthehrer He put it at a crap height, in a crap area & made it an easy enough save. Could have done much better, a decent finisher would have.

your pal Owen wouldn't have been in a position to get those chances, which is why most had rather have Martins anyday of the week not something you can determine when the lad wasnt playing

Missed two very big chances today. Fair enough he did well to get onto them......but his finishing was a big let down. Hes as much to blame as bassong.

Whats devastating is the fact that we have to now wait for this shit day to happen & be bricking it the whole time. Dont even want to imagine how im going to feel on sunday. Newcastle possibly getting relegated before my eyes. Having said that, as said before......i think we all expected this would go to the last day of the season. boro just got a point against villa.....we beat boro well enough. It should be possible.
