The Quarter Finals: Croatia, Argentina, Morocco, and France through

Jammy for me. Respect Croatia but bored of them drawing their way through tournaments. Hope they gou out in the semis. -

Loved that goal man. He had a chance to shoot when it first came to him but played the pass, then held off the challenge, then around the keeper and a great finish. -

As good as Croatia are they don’t have a Suker or even a Mandzukic. Basically lack a cutting edge in attack. -

Paqueta is an awful selection against this midfield tbh. Bruno needed. -
International Goals Quiz. How high can you score?

My high score is 22. It's a really cool quiz. But I reaffirm my previous comments. -

Similarly appears to include Olympic goals too which adds further confusion. Sorry I'm honestly not bitter at losing. -

Probably needs some clarification or standardisation on what it includes. Vivian Woodward's total included England Amateur goals. Which neither the FA nor FIFA would count in the total. -
I'm no expert in airline economics or logistics and had written off this idea. But actually one flight a week purely for football tourism seems perfectly reasonable and implementable.

Yeah was gonna say he has been playing 50+ games a season pretty much from 17/18. In two of the most physically intensive leagues around.

This is basically gaslighting at this point. Setting a team up to completely monopolise possession of the ball, including playing without a forward, and not shooting regularly at goal (because it risks losing the ball and thus being countered upon) is to the intent of suffocation and to prevent any natural cut and thrust of a football match breaking out. It is fundamentally a defensive tactic by its very design. It has been the modus operandi ever since that loss to Switzerland in 2010. Spain's games are always the worst at a tournament for this reason, and the other side is always blamed for it entirely for some reason.

Saiss plays in Turkey now, like

Sommer has been awful too, man. This is bizarrely poor.
-
Cba with Portugal winning it and Ronaldo getting a medal for doing nowt.
-
Tbf I'd never seen the bloke play, I judged purely on his passport and position.

Don't you work for ITV? -
There's got to be something with this Swiss performance, mind. Some of the passing has been unbelievable.

Reckon this is worse than Korea's display. There's no excuse to be this open.

Get the idea to a degree of going to a back 3 with Widmer out as they don't really have another right back. But this has backfired atrociously, and they just look chaotic at the back. All credit to Portugal though - look superb without Ronaldo.
-
They look so much better without Ronaldo
-
Fernandes is a huge fan weakness here.
-
Most lesser teams at the World Cup have one or two glaring weaknesses in their side (e.g. a ropey goalkeeper). Don't see that with Morocco. CF probably their biggest weakness for me as En-Nesyri never convinced - but even then he has decent pedigree.

Hopefully. Far more quality than Greece had, fwiw.
