If we could get our shit together we'd be fine here. The passing has been unbelievably sloppy for no reason. Feel like me hearts beating outside my chest.

Can only imagine it's Burn across into the middle. -
Got to say it'll be interesting to see if any of our players end up in the PL Team of the Season. I think Trippier is a pretty good bet but not sure outside of that.

I had a thread a long while back using football ground map. I might bump it up. Here's mine: https://www.footballgroundmap.com/sewelly

Pope was probably player of the season at one point but the red card before the cup final blotted his copybook. For overall consistency of performance I'd say Schar - but you could make a case for loads of players.
-
Very unlikely Liverpool drop many points between now and the end of the season. Will probably push the total required points up.

Ando was insufferable when we were bad like. It's the polar opposite now we're good, he's fucking hilarious
-
Tbh he has most got caught on the ball in the past when he's been asked to be the deepest midfielder. Don't doubt the improvement but a lot of it is just down to position imo.

Joeyt posts more about how much Wrexham annoy him than people actually post about Wrexham

That was when he was at Hoffenheim or Depor IIRC - before he came here.

Joelinton Bruno Almiron Coloccini Jonas Nacho Gonzalez Solano Rondon Kenedy Bassedas Acuna Gavilan Cordone Asprilla Cacapa Mirandinha George Robledo Ted Robledo Cant get two. Edit: Fumaca and Fede makes 20

Poor from March. De Gea doesn't save pens so you just need to not miss like that.
-
Another miss hit from Schar

Never mind staying up, there's a pretty good chance they'll go straight up again IMO.

I don't mind play-offs usually. If teams are a much of a muchness then I don't think playing each other head to head is a bad way to decide it. It becomes particularly harsh however when one team is significantly ahead of the others. In Italy if the third placed team in Serie B is 10 or more points ahead of fourth then they don't hold the play offs - which I think is good (happened in 2007 when Juve, Genoa and Napoli all came up).

Milan definitely deserved to win over the two legs but for me it's a loss for the competition. Napoli have ran out of form at just the wrong time, and picked up key knocks/injuriesa/suspensions (a bit like us for the LC final). Even then they've been done by a stubborn performance where if they'd took chances at key points over the two legs they would possibly have won. Napoli in full flight would have given any team from the other side a really good game in a final. Neither of the Milan sides will, unfortunately.

Has given every single borderline decision Milan's way, and done the opposite for Napoli. Napoli have been poor without Osimhem mind.

Ref in the Milan - Napoli game has been a total homer. Shocking officiating.

Their sporting director Lee Congerton left to go to Atalanta in the summer. Hence why Lookman ended up there rather than signing permanently. That being said I think the missteps in recruitment started earlier, with Congerton in charge. One of their biggest issues in recent years has been bloating the squad for CL/EL football and then being hamstrung on wages. A lot of the squad players or flops there have been unshiftable and left no FFP wiggle room. Partly because it's probably a great place to work as a pro - fantastic training facilities etc. Why leave? Then they've not been making big sales like they had done in the past to balance the books/reinvest - with players like Tielemans seemingly happy to run down their deals. They've ended up in a perfect storm of Vardy being past it, a load of squad players stuck around on big wages, and key players being uncommitted because they're running down their deals. It shows how fragile things are in the PL and how quickly you can fall if you don't keep your foot to the pedal in terms of squad management and recruitment.

Getting offered actual cash for Wood and Shelvey was miraculous. You can see why the club snapped their hands off.

Best away atmosphere I can remember for a long time. Stadium helped imo. Holds the noise in really well. Smaller allocation probably helped too tbh.

Go to say I thought the second pen was a pen all day long in real time. Thought he'd booted him clean in the head. One of those rare ones where it actually didn't look as bad slowed down.

Very good subs from beheaddie at half time. Changed the game as they had the better of us in midfield first half. Once they had two forwards to deal with their press went to shit. Away atmosphere was superb for most of the game. Liked Brentford's stadium a lot - one of the few new builds I've taken a shine to.

As Stifler says the station functions as the line terminus and as such I'm pretty sure it allows the trains to turn round and swap sides. I think you would need to make underground changes to Monument too if you wanted to close St James Metro - which could equally be an issue and expense. Might be wrong like. Personally think it would be great to see the station incorporated into an expansion and mixed use development. The station is becoming more of a gateway as that part of the city is developed - but at the moment is a grubby departure point. Club investment is a great opportunity to instigate positive externalities for the city and things like transport infrastructure.

If you're going to do that you might as well just keep it open then as you're still going to have to build over it. There's only really a constructional/logistical benefit if you can just fill the whole thing in with concrete.
