I'm happy to have as many London clubs as possible to be honest. With the ECML they're some of the easiest and best away days to do.

Hitting the first man is overplayed as a thing that people get annoyed about. Any pro footballer can beat the first man and put a ball in the box, if they take a bit of pace and direction off it. Doesn't mean it will be threatening once it gets in there. We saw that for years with Pardew set pieces. To get the pace and direction needed to be a real threat at this level you will always risk hitting the first defender. As much as Trippier has annoyed me a bit his chance creation is really high. I think our CBs have been a let down in an attacking sense.

Feel like one of the biggest let downs from a goalscoring perspective has been Botman and Schar from set pieces (Burn too, tbf). We've got 3 big centre backs in there and not one of them has scored from a set piece. This can't be entirely down to Trippier.

Midfielder to add more control and solidity. Top quality right winger. First choice left back. Right sided centre back with recovery pace (ideally who could also play RB) I'd go big on all these, particularly the first three as first teamers.

But Champions League means more revenue and is far easier to attract players. Europa League adds extra games without any of that. I know it's a cliche, and I normally hate this attitude, but EL genuinely be a problem for us at this stage because of how fast we've accelerated from relegation candidates. CL gives us the chance to leapfrog forward.

This is it for me. Those stats are bollocks at the end of the day. Football is far too random. And as much as our form has been brilliant recently, we have also had bad runs this season. So getting only 4-5 points from the last four is perfectly possible. I still think we need Liverpool to fuck up one of the next two for me to be confident.

Tbf to us I think Arsenal are just clearly a very good team. You can see why them and City are so far ahead.

Arsenal have been good. Helped them getting the goal but they've settled and probably should have had a second to be honest. I understand intensity being our identity and all that but I think we've taken it too far here. We've looked sloppy, wreckless and lacking in control with out play. It feels like we're a second away from another Liverpool (H) moment of madness from one player that ends the contest.
