That is cool I know, a grenade with wings! Seriously though, I don't agree with the way you're looking at it. As fellow professionals I think it'd be quite humbling and self-grounding to be willing to swap shirts with your opposition, for instance van Persie clearly treasures his collection whether they're from Cronaldo or Martin Woods.
-
Meh, the twitter post is a bit weird like. Still don't think there's owt wrong with common professionalism between players and swapping shirts after a game. For example, I think this from van Persie is great: http://i552.photobucket.com/albums/jj340/moemoe703703/persie_04_516x350_46693a.jpg

FA reject unfair dismissal appeal from NUFC for Cheik Tiote

Fuck off man you dick. Nah, welcome on board mate. -
Don't see what's wrong with that to be honest.

HTT complaining about physicality being promoted before technique, and then producing a list of quick, strong but limited footballers. All of them black. Shameful!

He is, he may not have gone through the full system but he still played for us and trained at Academy level for a short period. Well aye, technically, but drafting him in for a compensation fee at 17 is cheating a little bit like. Kadar and Vuckic are also technically academy grads, but, well aye.
-
Worth noting that Ranger isn't even an academy graduate.
-
I actually think Ranger is a decent player for 19, tbh. Though for the 45675th time, I'll utter those words: "Needs a loan".
-
Didn't do David Beckham's career any harm after the '98 WC. Which was also bang out of order.

First real upset with Syria beating Saudi Arabia 2-1.

loan to buy? money problems? Correct. Palermo are a small club, Napoli are a big club. Transfer dealings in Italy don't generally follow the same normalisms of everywhere else, so weird loan and co-ownership deals are usually just accepted rather than actually trying understand the logic behind them Wish Inter had bought Cavani like.

The point of Twitter is so people can post about their life and opinions, regardless of how important or entertaining they are. (I think this is the case anyway, I don't have an account myself) All Nile has done here is just that, post about something that in the grand scheme of things pretty trivial and pointless, but it's something he has done and feels the need to inform people about. Aye it's a bit stupid and worth a little giggle at, but does it fuck justify not just direct personal abuse, but also relating it to something completely unrelated like football ( his profession). Genuinely dumbfounded by the stupidity on show by some of our own fans. Sickening and also totally bewildering.
-
Genuinely think NUFC should look into a Twitter ban now like. It's a fucking crying shame that something which should be a positive link between fans and players is being ruined by thick people.
-
What the fuck are people on about? It's getting ridiculous. Think he was being sarcastic mate.
-
Anybody going out of their way to abuse players personally over the internet because of trivial things like tattoos should have a long had look at themselves. Morons with far too much to say for themselves when confronted with relative anonymity. People will sometimes say things on internet forums, but to do hate messages directly to something like a Twitter account? Get a grip ffs.
-
That would be canny funny actually.
-
Shocking disallowed goal in that game, should be 1-1. Boo-hoo.
-
Pizza and tattoos man. Bunch of Nazis.
-
Should have fasted for a week instead of eating like. Gutless, disinterested, pizza-eating wankers. (emphasis on the fact they ate pizza, pricks)
-
For fucks sake. An example of why the internet is really shit sometimes.
