Dunno if anybody ever reads old match threads, but I've had a look at a few and by Christ, Kaizero REALLY hated Carroll last season. He calls him worse than shite all the time.

So? He was strong enough for us last season. He played a handful of games for us and looked decent in a side dominating the Championship. He's had years of being rubbish according to QPR fans and failed disasterously last time he was in the Premier League. I'd rather we didn't buy somebody with an awful reputation purely because they had a few good games in the second tier.

Just watched the highlights of our FA Cup game against this lot last season, I remember us being robbed but Christ it was worse than I thought. Their 2 pens were the softest I've ever seen, Raylor getting sent off for one of them, their first goal arguably didn't cross the line and we also had a stonewall penalty turned down. Didn't really know where to put this but watching the highlights of it got me really angry so I had to post it somewhere.

Doncaster goal was a fucking awesome moment to be there, one of my highlights of last season.

People are underestimating that he has hit 9 league goals, despite playing for a side lacking in creativity, and without the need for penalties to boost his tally. Add to this his assists and overall game, I'd say he's definitely been the best forward in the league so far this season.
