I thought Kjaer was a real coup for them, Friedrich, Cicero and Madzukic all very solid signings. I've noticed he does seem astute in the transfer market, and I wonder if it's having a good entourage around him to do scouting and stuff or whether he is actually making these signings of his own accord. With Barton, Smith, Guthrie, Nolan possibly Vuckic and now Gosling Don't we have enough centre mids ? But Smith and Nolan are rubbish And Gosling is injured. The way I see it we don't have a competent defensive midfielder or a creative midfielder (unless Vuckic steps up) - they're all very much samey players. We need to mix it up. You're probably right though, I doubt we'll strengthen there.
