http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5HsqrDVsUs&feature=player_embedded Undecided on this kind of thing tbh. I guess it's nice to see the passion behind it and if it comes off then fair play, however it all seems a bit overstated. Maybe they should just focus on the football.

So that's 2 players for a grand transfer fee of 1.7 million. Splashing the cash!

Yeah, been reading on their forum and there is some massive hype machine building behind this game. http://www.esportiu.cat/wp-content/uploads/deixaremlapell.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs448.snc3/25693_1443776700355_1411252868_31193997_7182258_n.jpg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jm1pqWstmdQ&feature=player_embedded

Wayne Routledge signs 3 year deal with Swansea
ponsaelius replied to clintdempsey's topic in Football
Not many players have Walcott's kind of pace man. Routledge must be one of the fastest wingers in this division, the way he sometimes accelerates into space away from a group of players is great to watch. I think the fact he's came and not been the total speed-merchant people thought he was is hiding how fast he actually is. He has more to his game than just speed, hopefully he can continue it into next season. -
Crouch is better with his feet though. Infact I don't even think Crouch is that oustanding in the air, he doesn't score lots of goals with his head but has a decent all round game. Don't think I can see Carroll ever getting 20 goals for England.

Probably trying to get the ref on his side. Pretty clever tbh, doubt it will change much though. Yep, I'm sure the ref will already know all about Motta and Inter's antics though.
-
Also know that Hughton flew out to personally run the rule over a player on sunday, no idea where though. i like the way people seem to be assuming it's for a lille player. Almen Abdi of Le Mans might be a good option. Tidy midfielder, however he's only very recently joined them.

I'm pleased it seems like we're not stringently sticking to domestic players. Sure they may be the safer option but we'd definitely get more 'bang for our buck' so to say if we bought foreign aswell.

Colo and Jonas are some of the few players we have with notable talent. Last players anybody should be criticising.
-
That's what I was wondering aswell. However it's not the worst thing about that quote.
-
Hoffenheim aren't really a selling club though. They're not exactly desperate for the cash.
-
I hope the Barca - Inter game is as epic as it should be. Look at this quote from Thiago Motta: “We will therefore try to play cleanly. I watch Barcelona on television and see the players diving, but the important thing for us to do is step on to the field with a cool head and help the referee." Hypocrisy or what

I always thought Giuly looked out of his depth at Barca.

Didn't realise it was Wednesday - Palace on the last day, that's gonna be fucking tasty.

If this gets rejected, Nielsen's confidence will be shot to pieces due to Mancini showing he has no faith in him.

Pazzini!! forza Samp!
-
Cup final day this weekend, they always have it the week before the last game of the season.
-
Use ESPN soccernet. Americans love stats and they are the best with them.
-
Yes, infact he crossed my mind the other day, think he'd have the attributes to play well In the Prem. We could a lot worse than raiding Getafe for him and Albin.
-
Title and 4th place on the line. Not to mention Totti Vs Cassano subplot. Should be good, hawer Samp.
-
Anybody watching Roma - Samp in 15 mins?

Martins is literraly the thickest player I've ever seen. Some moments of absolute brilliance but he'll never have the consistency that can be relied upon. Generally I'm more than happy to see the back of him.
