Convinced I posted during last season that I thought Rafa would be after him last summer, but alas can't find any Nostradamus like predictions. He also plays in a 3-4-3 system at Atalanta, supported by two withdrawn forwards, very similar to the role Rondon currently plays for us.

At least it's mildly interesting/unique design wise. Also going to be in the centre of the town, right around the corner from the train station.

Yup it's easily my favourite stadium along with SJP. Completely unique and a real site to behold when you approach it. Both clubs know that stadium ownership, and controlling revenue streams, is vital to keep up with Juventus and other European Clubs. So this is necessitated. Even buying the stadium from the council and renovating it isn't really possible, because I don't think it's viable to play in it while renovation goes on and unlike Spurs with Wembley there is nowhere else in Milan to play home games. It's a crying shame though. As impressive as the likes of Spurs and Atletico's new stadiums are, football is going to lose a lot over the coming decades when every big club ends up with ground built for the modern era.

San Siro likely to be destroyed. Tantamount to a criminal act but probably necessary.

if we were to get relegated would we get kicked out of it

Your group is piss easy, you will get a play off with a couple of matches to spare. Top 2 qualify automatically.

Southgate has been a part of the system for years and is one of the reasons why he has such a good group of young players coming through now.

I'm really not a fan of paceless wide players who can't dribble, and since we came up his goal threat has been almost non-existent. What is it, 2 goals from open play in 60+ league games? He doesn't offer enough at this level. He has been lucky to find a niche as a wing back, but yesterday proves he's not really cut out for that either. This is not kneejerk either, I've been consistent in not rating him at this level.
-
I'd love to see him really kick on and become a solid double figures player, 10-12 goals minimum. He always threatens to become that towards the end of seasons, but the starts the next year slowly again.
-
I can't stand him as a footballer at this level personally.

Nowhere near. George robledo scored 82 goals for us in the 50's. He's Chilean, also had his brother at the club as well. 91 in all comps.

Wow that's bad, but the infrastructure around Italian stadiums looks terrible. I'm off to watch atletico on Saturday and it's an e-ticket downloaded straight to my phone. Yeah it was an e-ticket for the Napoli game. I guess it's not too difficult a process, only that the website is clunky and again it needs linking to a passport/ID. As somebody who collects the tickets from every match I go to, I'm firmly against e-tickets!
-
The Napoli game was initially announced as being forbidden to anybody without residency in the Campania region. This meant I bought a Napoli Fan ID, and then a ticket, in order to be able to get in. This was later announced to be a miscommunication between the Italian Government and the ticketing company, meaning I had wasted 40 euros, and could have just got one on the day. No refund - of course. Standard Italy. I guess it isn't that difficult. The website is workable, although shit. And there is places in the city to buy them on the day, although badly advertised. But you need your ID/passport to be able to buy one, and then need to show it together with the ticket when entering the stadium going through the multiple security checks. Like you would at the airport. It makes the whole thing that little bit more arduous to do, and when every game is on TV, I can only see this would put people off.

Just got back from a weekend watching Lazio vs Roma and Napoli vs Juventus. Both absolutely superb experiences. That being said, it's not a surprise to me so many Italian fans stay away from the stadiums on matchdays. These events are really not built for the casual fans. Obtaining tickets is unnecessarily difficult, the matchdays luxuries non-existent and some of the ultras are truly intimidating people.

Interesting. The c in Piacenza is pronounced 'ch' though! Also, needs tits.

It's slanderous. I've seen Longstaff pass it forward.
