  1. Yeah being honest I struggle to get annoyed at line-ups these days. Our squad is so shit that it barely actually matters who plays. Only one I'm a bit disappointed for is Murphy.
  2. Their squad is so much better than ours. Still got some blatant holes in it from odd squad building but you can see there's been money thrown at it at least.
  3. Weren't Palace supposed to have injuries? Strong looking line-up.
  4. Reckon I'd go postal if I had to watch Ryder Matos every week.
  5. He'll probably be subbed at half time or around 60 minutes. Struggled but not helped by the fact Verona are abysmal.
  6. He was calamitous today. Allardyce selling all their wingers and ending up with 6 CBs on the books
  7. Sports Direct are the major stockists for Score Draw stuff. Wouldn't be surprised if his hands are all over that pie.
  8. I guess people are pretty stupid, then.
  9. I thought the whole point of buying retro shirts was because the quality is better and to avoid putting money into Sports Direct. Seems to completely defeat the purpose seeing all these people wandering around with cheap knock-offs bought from the club shop. I bet Ashley can't believe his luck.
  10. Why not get a legit one instead of putting money into Ashley's pockets?
  11. Agree. I generally think they should have stuck with Szczesny years back, although you could understand the impatience at the time. However the ship has long since sailed. Once Wenger had loaned him out the first time he wasn't interested in coming back.
  12. Arsenal's line-up looked surprisingly fresh today but the squad looks a little bit thin. I was quite surprised to realise with the money they've been splashing on Lacazette and Aubameyang that they've made a profit on transfers this season. Szczesny (10m) Gabriel (10m) Gibbs (7m) Toral (3m) Hinds (2.5m) Chamberlain (40m) Coquelin (12m) Walcott (20m) Giroud (18m) 125m brought in. Generally good sales imo, a lot of players who weren't playing and needed shedding, but they look thin for competing on 2 competitions.
  13. If he's fit he'll definitely be in the squad. 12 substitutes allowed in Serie A.
  14. None of it really matters unless we can start winning some games, tbf.
  15. My ears may be deceiving me but I believe Alanis Morissette just put Bournemouth ahead.
  16. Must be nice being able to convert home games into wins now and again.
  17. Still of the slightly controversial opinion Sammy could have featured more for us last season. Not a bad Championship player.
  18. Cruel to mock people speaking English as a second language
  19. This is idiotic, tbh. I was a goalkeeper for twelve years and I was always worse than other two goalkeepers when they compared our fitness, speed... mostly because I'm 6ft 7inches tall, but I always performed better at games because the other two were lacking decision making, determination, positioning, etc. If that's how the squad is picked, then it's poor man management. Benitez should know that manager at his level is mostly motivator, psychologist and tactician and not some professor from middle school who thinks that ones who know subject by heart are better than ones who truly understand it. Ferguson and Big Ron openly admitted Paul Mcgrath never trained as he just wasn't upto it and usually drank a bottle of vodka before training. Come Saturdays though the guy was an absolute colossus of a centre half Picking a team by training statistics is not how a manager should be doing it This was 30 years ago. There's not a chance the likes of McGrath would get away with being a pisshead in the modern game. Regardless, even in that case, it's an example of an exceptional scenario. We don't have anybody in the squad good enough to get into the team purely on talent, certainly not Mitrovic.
  20. I'm not saying he's any good, but the fact that at the very least he's played for England at youth level and somehow cost £7 million in the summer puts him ahead of Josh Maja and Joel Asoro. If it wasn't for those two signings I'd have put them at 100% certain to gown.
  21. I really can't see him playing until Rafa has at least seen him in training for a bit. Think this is 50% a punt on a player, 50% a way to allow Woodman out on loan for much needed gametime.
