  1. Mandzukic is not the most skillful player in the world but he's got astonishing workrate and attitude. His goal return has always been solid enough too. This left wing thing is a bit odd but at the moment it's working well for Juventus and given them balance as Alex Sandro functions as the attacking wide player really.
  2. Well Kane and Alli (and Eriksen) have been more major players tbf. Son is more of a supporting role, with his buzzing around, good running and chipping in with goals. He's not quite as good if he's the player required to be running a game, hence why he's always pants for Korea.
  3. Really? Not the one I know (my sample size is admittedly small). Well same, but the two I know thought he was good and were disappointed when he went to Burnley instead of signing permanently.
  4. He won the same number of league titles at Milan as Ancelotti did in half the time and with a plethora of clowns padding the squad. Great manager.
  5. Jelle Vossen was well liked by Boro fans
  6. Getting a 2-0 win over Barca with this side 32 Abbiati 05 Mexes 17 Zapata 04 Muntari 10 Boateng 18 Montolivo 20 Abate 21 Constant 23 Ambrosini 92 El Shaarawy (Traore - 88' Booked ) 11 Pazzini (Niang - 75' ) Substitutes 01 Amelia 02 De Sciglio 76 Yepes 12 Traore 36 Christante 19 Niang 22 Bojan Is practically miracle work.
  7. Allegri was a great manager for Milan. His side that won the league in 2010/11 was excellent, and he continued getting big European performances in the following seasons despite the team being absolutely shite by that point. Milan struggled because of the apathy at ownership level, not because of Allegri.
  8. He did cost around 30 million euros tbf. Might not seem a lot in modern football but it is when buying from the Bundesliga. He's absolutely shite for the national team considering how well he plays for Spurs. My Korean friends hate him
  9. You mean like on aggregate? The years have worked out well for him in that case with Xavi and Iniesta fading out and Neymar and Suarez coming in. Over the last 10 years I'd give it to Ibrahimovic. Aye that's what I meant, but I worded it like that to be controversial. If you go from that season where Sevilla nearly won the league, to him now, he's been consistently fucking incredible.
  10. They've actually only conceded 2 goals.
  11. Alves has been the 3rd best player in the world over the last 10 years
  12. Juventus have absolutely shut Monaco down. Incredible stuff when you consider how much they looked like scoring goals in the last two rounds.
  13. Abeid to Ben Arfa against Blackburn.
  14. Spurs are the epitome of being a squad more than a team, like. More than any other team in the league imo, they have two great or very good quality players for every position, except for Sissoko who obviously cost them £30m I dunno about that, to be honest. The fullback positions certainly, and Dier can cover a lot of places, but actually they lack depth at striker, CB and out wide. I'd argue that they're more of a fantastic functioning team than having great strength in depth.
  15. Pace & finishing ability are too pretty big tools he's missing, based on what we've seen so far in a Newcastle shirt. This is true. And while his finishing could improve he's not gonna suddenly become a mover.
  16. Diego Costa was re-signed by Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2010, Carroll was sold in January 2011. Something amiss with that story.
  17. We all know this, the point is it likely wouldnt have an effect, and done legit- ( I know theres ways) the potential ££s is massive iyam. I believe it would definitely have an effect. The degree to which could be disputed, and would depend on how it was implemented.
  18. As is explained every time this comes up, it doesn't exist in this country as a means to protect attendances.
  19. In the league away from home I've seen a 0-6, 0-1, 0-2, 1-2, 1-2 and a 0-2. 6 wins from 6, 15 goals, 2 conceded Tempered a bit by the Oxford and Hull debacles like, but still, going to games this year has genuinely been rewarding if not always blisteringly exciting.
  20. They could be struggling but they could just as easily be pushing for play-offs to be honest. It's hard to really say and seems to be a bit of a crapshoot for relegated sides. Last time they went down with 15 points and then came back up as Champions. Another relegation is statistically unlikely - only happened 3% of the time to relegated teams to go down again.
  21. Madrid and Barca winning the CL every year without even having actual managers these days. Just send them out and win. Reckon an N-O coaching collective could take this Madrid side to the trophy.
