Hard to believe it's an actual opinion that Liverpool are a better team by losing Coutinho and gaining some central defender. Never heard such nonsense in all my life.
-
Proactive on the club's front to get him in before the weekend's game, what with him being both loan-tied and cup-tied.
-
Has Deeney even been playing for Watford this season? He's massively limited.

Manchester City 3-1 Newcastle United - 20/01/2018 - post match crack p22

Was a canny trip yesterday. A bit depressing re-visiting the Etihad for the first time since 2010. The difference in quality of players is one thing, and we're all well aware of it, but also the level of investment that has gone into their stadium in the intervening period. SJP really is a million miles behind the top clubs these days, despite having by far the best location of any stadium in the country. Took my mate who's visiting from Korea. Didn't realise there was different separated levels in the stadium, so I lost the poor bugger as we went into the ground . Fans were on good form though and he had a fantastic experience because of that. Match was a good enough performance in the face of things. Murphy is talented. It's all about personality for him - a bit more arrogance and he'll be a canny player. -

He clearly has no intention to sell. Fucking horrible bastard. -
Aye. This has always been common knowledge as a possibility, but it's almost unprovable beyond speculation.

There's a Dispatches video on Youtube from 1998 that discussed Bennell and Speed was mentioned.
-
Was gonna say, it's absolutely woeful.

This seems absurd to compare the aggregate attendances of leagues with 18, 20 and 24 teams.
-
Well the Joselu goal against Liverpool was kicked off him by the Liverpool defender so wouldn't be counted as an assist for Shelvey despite a great pass. Harsh but life's not fair.

Last time we played them in a cup game was 2010, before that was 2006. Last time we played them in the FA Cup was 2003. 2005, last-16. -

Fat horrible cunt. -
Clive Allen says it's a retake. He's definitely wrong.
-
A double-hit would not mean a retake. Would be a free-kick to Arsenal.
-
Holding was a promising defender and good on the ball, had some cracking games at the end of last season. The problem is for any defender playing for Arsenal eventually gets the better of you. It is a graveyard for CBs because Wenger isn't really interested in them and the way they play is almost designed to leave them constantly exposed. Only Koscielny in recent years has really made a proper go of being consistently able to play well, because he's unnaturally good at stepping out and reading the game. But even he has numerous occasions of looking shambolic.
-
That'd be more than I'm expecting.
-
He's Jamaican, which means he's far more likely to be Protestant. Most Jamaicans are massively homophobic like.
-
Can't really see him being anything more than a left-footed body to give us some depth that isn't Haidara shaped. I guess even that will make him useful of sorts.
-
Intriguing to see Colombia producing all these young CBs. Remember at the World Cup their backline were all ancient.

Seville derby on in a bit. It must be proper mortifying for Betis fans the success Sevilla have had in the last decade. Both had very similar histories and then Sevilla just winning 5 UEFA Cups out of nowhere.
-
Nah I think the Monaco system made him look better than he is. Always thought Fabinho was the far better of the midfield two they had during their run last year.
