  1. Haidara, Lazaar, Krul, Riviere, Saivet and Hanley would save a few quid. It's hilarious to think the only one of that lot likely to fetch any real money is a decent Championship CB who has never played in the PL, nor is he good enough to. We really have so many abject players on our books. Hanley played a fair bit in Blackburn's relegation season. Scored the winner at Old Trafford IIRC. Your point still stands though, obviously.
  2. I am choosing to believe it.
  3. Aside from how rank it is it'll actually be quite interesting to see Neymar as the main man in a team.
  4. There's no way Rafa isn't playing 4-2-3-1 next season
  5. Aye. No scouting network, just a network of agents. Bit like us, but more of a clusterfuck.
  6. Wilshere was bossing Barcelona's midfield as a 19 year old. Injuries have killed him and he should be avoided. He was not shite though. Calling him shite is like saying Alex Pato was shite as a 19 year old for Milan.
  7. personally i think he was average and his contribution to our promotion was around equal to that of Marlon Harewood, just for balance.
  8. Some, and it tends to be when they actually spend money. Payet, Cresswell, Antonio. Carroll, Lanzini and Kouyate are decent too. Most of that striker list, and most of the shite they've signed, have been brought in on free transfers or loans. They're usually either obscure European players or well known ones being handed big wages. Generally their transfer policy is extremely adhoc and short term, considering the money and pull that they should have these days. There never seems to be any plan to what they are doing. I mean you'd imagine that individually Hernandez and Arnautovic should do well for them, but it's all a bit random, as if they're grabbing at whatever names they can get.
  9. 3 year deal He'll be 37 ffs.
  10. League One footballer's wages. I'm guessing he's probably only quadrupled his salary. What do you think he'll be on? The average salary for a League One player is around £1,500 a week, can be a fair bit more for top players especially in big relegated Championship clubs. But if you're a player signed from non-league, managing to arrange a trial and winning a deal, the chances are he'll be on much less than average.
  11. Nice draw for you in the next round too.
  12. There's little variation in the temperature between January and July in Cameroon, indeed temperatures are generally higher in January. The major difference is that July is the rainy season. Same goes for Ivory Coast in 2021. Not ideal for West African pitches.
  13. Aye he is, but he seems to use his left quite a bit in the Youtube videos.
  14. West Ham assembling a 2011 Premier League dream team.
  15. Aye, I'd agree. Routledge for 6 months in the Championship too arguably.
  16. We have 4 wingers now, unless there's a plan to loan Aarons out, so somebody who can play behind a striker as well as out wide would be a good shout.
  17. Aye, I haven't read the book, but that was a major issue. We basically played with 1 winger for most of the season, and Ritchie is more solid and proctive than he is unpredictable.
  18. All the talented players in France and we keep going back for jobbers from Bordeaux.
  19. He looks like pure shit on his Youtube videos like. Worse than Gouffran did.
  20. You've got Riviere wrong, he's up next summer. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/emmanuel-riviere/profil/spieler/61637

We'd have beat Marseille with a full squad. Rafa's Valencia might have been a stretch in the final though.
  22. The same people who want local lads in the side also defend the club for failing time and time again to be ran to the potential that would deliver such a thing.
